Kosmo Foto brand it but they wont say who actually make it for them, only its an existing emulsion. Who are the oldest film companies? Thats the hidden answer

Any ideas for low grain high contrast film? Slow speed too I reckon.

Ilford Pan F or Kodak T Max are good for that

It’s actually sold out everywhere. So hopefully they’ll restock. A camera store I used to use, imported Russian 5x4 inch film that had a similar grain, only it was rated at 100 iso. It was fabulous for doing old style portraits. Only something slightly unrelated- how long lived are your GoPro batteries? I have 2 that won’t charge after 3 years light use.

Seems to be Kentmere 400 or Fomapan 100 pushed to 400. Not a fan of re-badging. It is just trying to hood-wink the consumer with a natty name & jazzed up box. Often the re-badge is sold at a significantly higher price the than the original film. My local brewery do special bottled beers for different events. If it is a standard beer, they clearly state on the label what beer it is & that it is in a themed bottle for that particular event/season.
