Another great guide. I'd love to see a guide with tips of how you manage raiding with different groups and maintaining your macro at home. The multitasking can be really tricky and one of them always suffers for me

Love this! In the first game, is it better to rush build the barracks like Drongo does, or do you think the slower build is better long term?

It is mostly about a few seconds of build time, if you use 2 villagers instead of one. Most importantly, the constant villager production most remain :)

Hi Valdemar. I play mongol. What do you do when opponent does turtle strategy and you can't raid him? (Ex too many towers). Do you have to go for boom? Thx

If opponent is turtling, then you can counter with booming. Don't stop making army but add in trade or more tcs. If you are both in feudal, then going castle will give you quality units and upgrades to go under defenses as well with +2 ranged armor.

But I have an issue that I can't seem to improve. I handle my army very poorly. I always have many units and lose against smaller troops. Good day. I assume you are running the wrong composition. Take a look at some pro level players and what they do in their games. That is the best way to learn how to do compositions (EGCTV here on youtube has a ton of games from the tournament)

I always open with a range and go aggressive with javs then add in a stable later... I'm obviously a lower league player, but would this work if I want to climb the ladder...

Javelins are good for defending, and Warrior Scouts are significantly better to attack since they have a very high movement speed. If you go for around 10 warrior scouts, then you can go pro scouts, and then play farimba garrison as an alternative to cow boom!

This is exactly that kind of stuff I am struggling to understand. I am playing the rus 2tc build currently and I don't understand how anyone could break that with aggresion. They have only ~750-900 ressources more for units, so 3-4knights. I only lose early if I take a bad fight... Also could you do a decision making video after you covered all three? I was playing against abbasid military wing and I went 3tc rus as an answer because by the time I would do dmg I might as well have a third tc and outboom with my 400 bounty. I lost but I felt I made the right decision. So either it was wrong or I made another wrong choice.

It's not just the 750-900 resources - with a 2nd TC you're also consuming an additional 150 food per min on villager production. That's an extra 1-2min delay before it starts paying off. It makes a difference in early aggression play styles.

@@Flowprodev-yp1tg yeah I calculated the efficiency when they changed the tc cost and buildtime. You are even in ressources at ~5min after the tc finishes. So at the 11-12min Mark. But If my opponent wants to ram rush, he invests a tc worth of ressources into destroying mine I also lost against one tc all ins. I just feel that the ball is in my court when going 2 tc. But this should not be because aggression counters boom. Maybe I only played against people who can't do aggression right...

@@OptimusCrime4444 I tend to agree with you, however early pushes don't need rams. If you just focus on sniping villagers and bottling your opponent up they will run out of food and can't make use of that 2nd TC while you should always have a bigger army and be relatively safe from getting raided. (there are exception of course, like english and mongols need a different strategy)

I treat 2 tc as a turtle therefore I boom over the top of it with 3 tc. I don't try and rush into it because turtle beats rush.

something I've always been curious about is: if he is rock paper and you are 1 1 1 meaning you're Rock Paper Scissors how can he counter your 1 1 1 army? To be honest I think a mono army beats a tri army because of micro efficiency and blacksmith upgrade bang for buck.
