My mind can’t comprehend you did a 450 out of a back unity. I replayed it like 5 times.

Thanks man. Used to have unities down but stopped skating for a while. This helps for sure as I have top porn down for life and back unity in that direction. Also, the audio on the fall was hilarious

For me it's easier to land a back unity straight away, than to land it after a switch up... Could you please shoot a how-to video about switch up ? Thanks.

Great quick tips video! thanks so much! nowadays I’m practicing on my prail and it gets really intimidating 😄 last night I fell down and hit left side of my left leg on the rail, it hurts a little but not very bad, I’m using crush pads also but somehow hit somewhere was not padded 😅

That fall at 04:00 looked nasty. Hope youre ok. Great vid! I always am a little afraid for back unity. Especially when I try a switch up: soul to back unity. I believe turning 90 degrees helps a lot.
@acostablades81383 жыл бұрын
Im Ok, Luckily ive got wrist made of shattered bones lol That is a fun switch up! Just remember to keep those arms up and have a strong lock once you switch. Commit and ride that slide out.

I think something’s wrong with me lol. I only know 4 grinds, soul, royalle, mistrial, and this one, backside unity. For the life of me I cannot expand my tricks. I can’t even do the two prerequisites you mentioned in this video :( The next one I want to learn is topside soul but I’m right footed and can only grind to my right side. ANYTHING that requires left side grinds is a complete impossibility to me, I just feel so awkward and off balance.
@acostablades81382 жыл бұрын
That's understandable. I kinda had the same thing going for me after about 3 years in, but something just changed. As I got more comfortable with the vocab I had. I began hitting street and hated the feeling of not being able to skate something because of the side it was on. I went back to a basic ledge and rode past it a bunch of times with left foot back and right foot forward, then repeated this movement again the opposite way. I practiced just that and after a while I started attempting new grinds based off of my foot position. Your going to fall... pad up and get a helmet on. It'll help with confidence and keep you safe. Best of luck Joseph!
