I bought one at Home Depot last week for $7.00 on clearance and it’s twice as full I had to transplant it and it looks great.

I picked one of these up on impulse when I was waltzing around the Walmart plant center. I paid only $20 for mine in a ceramic pot and it's probably almost a foot tall. I haven't watered it yet but it was pretty saturated. I live in MN and the humidity in my home is usually around mid 30's to 40. I'm glad to hear I've got some good indoor conditions for her!

I took a small cutting of this variety of agleonema on vacation at my moms . It took a long time to root because I just cut the stem . It’s beautiful now and I ordered a Valentine Agleonema and it wasn’t expensive at all off Etsy . It’s my favorite now but the other is sentimental, my mom doesn’t even have the one I took the cutting from . Tfs

I water mine every 2 weeks; she is on an indirect bright light and doing amazing, and 3 new babies are coming. That's how I call them "babies" (the shoots) mine is blooming right now..anyway.. very informative video ✌🏼

I got mine from Lowe's as well... the roots were pretty strangled in plastic grow pots... luckily I found them while repotting and cut them off!

9/10 times my Lowes doesn't have anything good but every now and then I find gems there and its so exciting!

That is exactly how mine was when I got it last week....I wanted to remove one of the three and plant them in terracotta....I was so surprised to find them with the growers pots in the soil

Same exact thing just happened with me today, had to carefully cut 2 tinyyyyy pots tangled in a bunch of roots. Soooo glad I had knocked some dirt off or else I would never have seen them.😅

Just picked one up today on clearance at Walmart- they carry the Costa Farms brand which my local Lowe’s also carries. I always seem to be rescuing discounted plants lately 😅 most the time they just need a little TLC & time.

As far as propagating, since it sounds like water propagation is iffy (based on the comments).... What do you think about a propagation box with sphagnum? This plant is just so beautiful I would be so sad if I did take a cutting and it failed. By the way, I am new to your channel and loving it so far. Thank you for sharing!

Hey Vicki thanks so much for checking out the video! Prop boxes are a great option as they provide some medium with great airflow and still providing consistent moisture If you do go this route just remember to leave some air holes so you dont get mold!

I guess mine has adapted to direct sunlight. The leaves are very healthy and I water it more often.

Thank you for this video! I obtained a pot of these. Turns out they were bought at a box store and the root systems of each plant were in a plastic housing thingy. So I separated them all. Also took the plastic thingy out as it was inhibiting root development. They are more tall than bushy. When suggesting to chop off the top (for more bushyness) how do you suggest I do it? Shall I only do one and see how it goes?

I just got one a few days ago at Lowes and it had three plants with the little black growers(?) pots around each plant...I have never seen that before....if people aren't aware they could lose their plant to it...

I always think its so weird when the big box stores have those plastic housing in the bottom it seems to be pretty common! As for chipping the top I like to go one leaf down and I think starting with one is a great idea to see how you like the effect!

Can you explain what you mean by trim the top? I’m new to plants and she’s my first one and she’s gotten tall but barely any leaves only 6

First of all welcome to the wonderful world of plants! Typically I like to wait until my plants are a little more mature but if you trip off the top most leaves on the pant this will cause it to sprout new growth points lower down and get bushier. I hope this helps a little more!

Mine is sad and droopy as well but I've had him for 8 years. I guess I wouldn't say droopy, it's really long/tall which is goofy to me.🤷🏾‍♀️ Maybe I'll remove the stakes and let it fall over.

Hey Misty you absolutely can just be carful if you keep it in water for a while and want to bring it to soil the transition may become difficult the longer it’s in water, hope this helps good luck!
