Poor Agnes Moorehead . . . She was okay until she killed her husband! Then for some reason, she became quite sensitive to the lovely sound of fingernails digging into a chalkboard. Known as "The First Lady of Suspense" Agnes (Old Bagnes) Moorehead certainly gets very good scripts, and she always does a great job. The "13th Sound" is no exception which is another story she did more than once, the 2nd broadcast was in 1951. I posted this first one 'cause it has better audio quality.
Broadcast on February 22, 1947
