Agorkoli the animated short film is a story that talks about the history of the migration saga of the Ewe people of Ghana who can be located at the South Eastern part of the country. After misfortunes of the migration settlements, the Ewes had to move for a greener pasture. And by this move,They settled under Agorkoli, leader of the Notsies. For a while, they enjoyed a beautiful time of peace, until an unknown rumor which became a big dispute between the Notsies and Dogbos.

Believe it or not Twitter brought me here. This was truly insightful. I didn't know the origin story of the ewes goes all the way up to the Egyptians. The animation is great. This is awesome, I hope this commercialised soon.

This is an amazing work to tell the Ewe story. Well done. I wish the story was narrated by someone who could actually pronounce the names.

This treachery was committed by the Ewes in Ghana. I hate it when my people keep talking of the cruelty of their king Torgbui Agor Akorli. It means we haven't learnt that treachery is a crime. This is not a thing to be proud of. It is not smartness. No king would allow that. King Solomon killed a man who cursed his father King David. Evil begets evil.

ewes were not part of the sahelian kingdoms. The founders of Ghana empire were Soninke people. These people are part of the greater mandinka ethnic group. These people are still in their ancestral land, that’s around present day Mauritania... the Songhai people are also around, they’re the present day Gao people and zambarama people. The ewes have no interactions with the Sahel people... some akans are also claiming sahelian lineage, that’s also false.

So you know the Ewe and Akan people history more than they do? Do you think your academic knowledge about history is the truth? Besides the Sahara desert doesn't exist then. All the ethnicities in Africa almost share a common history

The story was messed up. They become ewe from Nothse and were Aja before. Moreover, the Dogbo group is not the Ewe but a group of Aja different from Tados staying actually in a place in Benin called Dogbo

@@dieu-donneyouto1044 They original were in three main faction Dogbo's, Dogboyibo's and Tado's. The Dogbo's (The original Ewe's) who found their tribe (Aja) settled in Notsie under King Agorkoli. They have the same tongue and culture reason why they were easily allowed to settle in Notsie in the first place.

The hatred that Agokoli tribes rooted in themselves follow them until to day. Envy jealousy, culpites, greediness, gossip men like their women. Not that fine emancipation. , how can one of there man died bcse he killed his fellow and they made law themselves to follow and despite this law, they went to kill many of their fellow fair skin ???? Until today, those blacks dark skin Agokoli descendant with big bum still envi descendant of those they killed 300 yrs ago. The curse still upon them. .
