I saw a post going around recently about how Travis's usual incomprehensible chant at the end of Matt's intro each week was a manifestation of his eldritch powers. However, this ep. he opts for a higher pitched, softer, more well-spoken tone with none of his usual chaotic energy...and look what happens!!!

Most of this season has just been Matt hitting on Travis through player characters. So good.

It’s such a small character moment, but I love Fjord’s joyous response to the bird.

Fjord: “What about...revenge?” Yasha: “Well I think about that every day.” I think this is the first time I heard Yasha be truly malicious towards someone else and I WANT MORE!

A character trait that I don't know if it's on purpose but I still like It: whenever Yasha starts delving too deep into her past, she eventualy goes "I don't know, I don't know" and quickly kills the subject. That's interesting.

This is such a great group. Travis gets so worked up over losing his powers from his pact because he knows Matt will make him be 'just a guy' if he doesn't resolve the situation. What makes Mercer such a great DM isn't just the story and narrative he weaves but also is he is not trying to kill the players nor is he trying to coddle them. That balance is what makes things glorious.

Liam's characters might be as dark as game of thrones 8x03, but even that thick of a plot armour couldn't help Vax
