God every part of this arc has been me sitting at the screen begging the nine to stop letting Jester and Nott talk to Important people. It's funny? ...It's kinda funny? Like it's... mostly funny. But also it's just absolutely maddening and I kind of respect Matt's restraint in having anyone take them seriously. They just... word vomit through every interaction.

I feel like I heard different words from the Queen. I didn't hear bloodthirsty so much as she seemed to say she thought the Empire wasn't going to back down, so if she doesn't meet it her people will be slaughtered. It sounded more like a defensive stance.

48:43 Marisha's character work is so stellar, the way she laughs off jesters flippant compliment, then looks so happy, fixes her hair and readjusts like she's noticed how happy she looks and pulls herself back to a more neutral face. Multiple in character decisions that provide insight into Beau as a character in just a few seconds with no words spoken, this is what brings me back to this show over and over

The look on Talison's face after Laura said she chewed on some curtains was priceless!😁

“Notts there let her work” is a great way of trying to stop a crazy encounter regardless of meta or not, is also great in a role play and story sense of fjord gaining more faith in notts abilities and trusting here to do what she does

One of my favorite moments that literally made me laugh out loud - "O.K., you're a moth....flutter..." That whole series of events was great and couldn't have been done better.

So frustrating that they had the person pinged with detect creature and decided to just chill with Jester to finish that spell. They could have been closing in on them. I could see the frustration in Sam’s face when he said “let’s just go after them”

Catch up crew 2021 Perpetual DM here, and so happy for the inspiration Matt is. It wasn't at the start, but my campaign is now 100% taking place in Exandria. This lore is like a high fantasy book.

The scene with the Bright Queen where Beau and Caleb are pleading with her to show restraint and pull her troops back is heart wrenching. They're two people who have not always been treated kindly by their Homeland, and yet they are willing to sacrifice any chances of ever being able to return home so they can save people. And to have that hope of theirs be callously tossed aside by a near immortal being and met with such indifference... You can see it on their faces too. While the Bright Queen is not as evil as the Empire paints her and most definitely has her valid reasons and justified motives, watching Beau and Caleb realize that they might not be able to make a difference in this war had me in tears. Beautiful moment
