A year later I finally found some SV by Aguila. Can't wait to try them. On hold due to weather. I'll know how fast they'll be going thanks to you. Give or take a few fps. Won't be outta a rifle like yours but my 10/22 will do.

I used the same ammo last weekend out at 300 yards with my cz 457 mtr. I had really good luck using it, many 5 0f 5 magazines on my 16 inch gong

Kudos for going through the hassle of measuring those rounds. That sounds more than a little tedious.

Interesting findings....my last brick of SK RM I had up to .004 variation. To date, the absolute best I've ever tested was Eley Match, all were within .001 and I just received a brick of Eley Benchrest Precision which was the same.

Fascinating video! The results on the 50 yard were awesome for this level ammo even though the time to sort was crazy...but that's a labor of love so ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I'm guessing you could apply this approach to just about any caliber? Or do the variables get crazier on larger cartridges?

Remington 581s - 10/22 "International", "Pathfinder" Revolver. All shoot the Aguila about the best. CCI 40gn RN Mini Mag is what I use for a 25 yard ZERO. Then to change ammo re-zero the scope with that ammo. Shot a lot of FAM. Got tired of the fliers. Weighed a Box. The rounds that weighed exactly, the ones in the middle, print all holes touching. From Lightest to Heaviest there was a 1.1 grain difference. According the the Hornady Manual, .03 of a grain = 50 - 100 fps (+ or -) between rounds. For a 22 RF, That's a lot. Weighing weeds out some of the fliers. Light rounds hits Low and to the Right, the Heavy ones Hit High and to the Left. Golf Balls at 100 yards just great small game running practice. Looking at the chronograph numbers, the ammo is dancing around the subsonic/sonic range, which could affect the accuracy @100 yards...

I have tried this ammo and it leaves a lot to be desired I don't think it is that good I kicked it to the curb and I think that is where it will stay good shooting brother keep it up Beagleman

I've got about 2dx rimfire rifles. A few will shoot with some predictability 1 inch groups at 100 with this ammo. Many will not. What you have discovered here is that ylour riflee does not like that ammo very much.

I imagine at some point in your research and investigation you have sorted solely by weight. How much more significant is the improvement in the group and performance between sorting both and just sorting by weight?

I had to run the sensitivity on my magneto speed a ton to pick my speeds up

I can still get this ammo for 5 bucks a box! If I sort it out 50.8 shoots lights out with my cz457. Also good ammo to play games with .

I just looked on Optics Planet and they want $22 for box of 50 Lapua Center X. Not really fair to compare. The Aguila is what it is and works for some people.

So, help me understand just what I saw. The first couple of groups at 50 yards averaged 1175 fps or so. The last group, had the same ammo, 100 yards, chrony in the same position and they only averaged 1125 fps or so. What is it that I don't understand? Thanks!
