Keep those great videos going. I tried the Aguila Target Competition in my guns and it did not group well. The Aguila Sub-sonic grouped better.

Shot 40 of these during the weekend in a controlled environment (indoor range) at 47yards. They have the potential when you shoot and find the "perfect" round, but overall just inconsistent. They maybe good for just plinking but then again there are more cheaper options out there if your not really looking for accuracy and precision.

Aguila shoots poorly in all my guns so not surprised it didn't shoot that well for you. But you never know until you try; enjoyed the video.

Looks like a pretty good spread in velocities. I'd like to see a crono read out on the ammo.

Well Mr revolver guy I don't think it matters how much you buckle down that rifle is not going to shoot that ammo but you're right it's good for plinking

I shoot a lot of Aguila standard velocity. It shoots as well as current CCI standard velocity. You can buy 2000 rounds of Aguila SV ammo for $110.00 at mid south. If you weigh them sort them measure case case heads you will have match/target grade ammo on the cheap. CCI needs to pull it together, I understand when you can sell every round you produce it must be tempting to just let the machines run as long as ammo is safe. The problem is shooters are finding other sources because of inconsistencies in velocity. Keep the machines clean and calibrated even if it earns a light dent in production. I never wanted to go off continent for .22 ammo. Please get it together and return to that excellent ammo that you made for years. I can now hear differences in velocity with CCI standard velocity. When my lot of 20 year old green tag is gone I will purchase no more. Eley and SK are killing it because difference in performance is so profound. Don't let foreign manufacturers take the American market from you. You can do better.

That’s very typical of the brand , in 12 of my rifles it doesn’t shoot worth a hoot, until they get their act together I won’t but one single box again , Love that CZ tho 👍👍

$5.99 a box seems reasonable for target ammo since even run of the mill ammo is going for a dime a round anymore. Oh, I almost forgot~ the groups average about .6"

I realize that target is a lot smaller than we think it is but for me it drives me crazy when I see a great group of 3 rounds then the next 2 are somewhere off in another spot. 🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸

Serious question here ... going to be a really stupid question probably You mention the lube ... I notice it on Norma and some Eley I got to test. Being new to this, what if a guy put some lube on it ... say Renaissance Wax? Would it help crap ammo shoot better or be a waste of time and mess up the rifle? As I have noticed that the greasy feeling ammo does shoot better for me?

I`ve bought a few boxes of the Aguila "TARGET", it didn`t live up to its name on the box in any of my many 22`s. I have better luck with the CCI-SV, and the CCI-SV isn`t that great either. I`ve had far better accuracy with Norma TAC22.

I’m betting 1” on the group size . The only good thing I can say good about that ammo is it cycles reliably in my pistols 👍

I don’t think I’d want to be using that ammo in a competition, unless everyone else had to use it.

The Eley Primed Aguila is a little better, but still garbage ammo. The Eley Contact Subsonic is far better ammo for the same price. BTW Aguila is pronounced "garbage".

Any mfg can stick the name TARGET on a box of ammo. BUT, it takes a lot more, a whole lot more to make good quality ammo. This stuff is a JOKE>
