This is not true. Non-Korean people got this idea from watching a FICTIONAL tv show that isn't even originally Korean. "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" is the Korean version of a Chinese TV show, which is based on a Chinese novel. The whole story is made up. The writers just changed the names of the characters to historical Korean rulers when they made the Korean version. The names are real, but everything else is fiction. Just like there was never a time-traveling girlfriend back in ancient Korea, there was never a rule against kings having scars. There was a rule against kings marrying women with scars, but not until hundreds and hundreds of years after the time period of Scarlet Heart. Women in Goryeo actually had a lot of freedom.

DAECHWITA(대취타) is Korean traditional march song, and it usually played when King's visit. Jipsa, the leader of the musicians, say "Myong Gum Ill Ha Daechwita harrapshinda (명금일하 대취타 하랍신다)" at the beggining, which means "start the music after one Jing(Korean traditional instrument, simillar with gong) played". And all musicians say "yae-ee(예-이)" which means OK, then start the music. The first sound was it :)

Fun fact: yoongi is actually from a royal bloodline (in real life). He’s a relative of the last korean empress (Empress Myeongseong). yoongi is a part of the Yeonheung Min Clan. +also in korea there is a somewhat kind of a rule that you cannot be a king if you have a scar on your body specially on the face. the MV and a line in the song (1:06) are likely inspired by a period film called Masquerade (2012), where King Gwanghae hires a man to be his doppelganger as insurance/protection against the constant threat of assassination. tension eventually grows between the 2 kings. in the end, black-haired yoongi appears to shoot blonde yoongi because what if blonde yoongi is the fake king??

I got this from some people Daechwita (literally "great blowing and hitting") is a genre of Korean traditional music consisting of military music played by wind and percussion instruments, generally performed while marching. It can also mean "Big Shot". This music was performed in the march of a king or an attributive and an army march organized by a wind instrument and a percussion instrument. Agust D used it here to show that he is the king and his fans are a the ARMY. It a way to say that in this industry, they should play "daechwita" when he and his ARMY walk because their existence is an honor that you should celebrate. Also, they walk as the others bow down to the ground in respect. Their faces are not seen and they are all wearing the same clothes. No one stands out or rules over but the king. The one he's wearing is actually a traditional clothing that only kings could wear. You see like traditionally asians grow hair of and take care of it which shows rank on society. If i wasn't wrong i can't remember the name of the king way back but he also has a scar. He was actually renowned for his ruthlessness and bravery for breaking the stereotypes of what kings would be. If im wrong please correct me. In korea if you have a scar you can't be a king, but min yoongi broke that stereotype and became a king with a scar on his face. I stan a king. I stan a boss. In his other Agust D album there's a track called The Last he said that "Min Yoongi is dead. I killed him." But this time he killed Agust D (The King) because he doesn't need a persona, like a mask to pretend that he's a celebrity anymore, because the little poor boy that he was just grew up and made it so now Agust D, Suga and Min Yoongi are the same person.
