aho hari! ohu dina kaba aihain
(Oh Lord! When will the day come..)
gavata guna gopala nirantara, drigana ashru barasaihain
(..when singing Your glories constantly, I will shed tears of yearning for Your divine vision and love?)
roop madhuri nishi dina dhyavata, mana bhringi bani jaihain
(When will my mind be absorbed in the sweetness of Your beautiful form to the degree that it identifies itself with You completely, just as an insect appears to turn into the ichneumon wasp (bhringi))
baat nihari tihari pala pala, kalapa samana janaihain
(When will I yearn for Your divine vision, with each moment passing like an era?)
haya! haya! kari ita uta bhajata, nija tanu sudhi bisaraihain
(When will I run here and there calling out to You in the agony of separation from You, completely oblivious of my body?)
yaha 'kripalu' jiya parama bharoso, kabahun to hari apanaihain
(Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj says, "I live with the firm faith, that my merciful Lord will come day make me His own")
