Solo Female in Kashmir. Is It Safe ? What to know before going to Aharbal Waterfall.
Aharbal Waterfall also known as the "Niagara Falls Of Kashmir" is the highest waterfall in Kashmir valley situated in Kulgam district. This fall is just 65 kms around 2 hours away from Srinagar and really easy to reach.
You can reach Aharbal Waterfall via public transport that you need to change twice from Srinagar to Shopian to Aharball, it can be a bus or a shared taxi. Also you can visit via your own vehicle that will be faster and a rented cab that will cost you around 1800-2500 as per your vehicle(you can negotiate).
This place is really safe to visit in Kashmir and in winters this fall gets completely frozen and you will be awestruck by the views, right now in monsoon July 2021 it is in its complete flow and will be just gorgeous to look at with rainbows changing over it every second.
