What to know before going to Doodhpathri a hidden gem in kashmir, a valley that got its name from an epic tale of a priest who hit on the ground and a stream of milk started flowing out but later he turned it into water and hence the river Shailganga flows here with water just as white as Milk(ohh tales are tales anyway but the water is surely white as Milk).

A place that is still soo untouched and beautiful a must visit when in Kashmir, just 1 hour drive from Srinagar(45-50 kms) when coming via hired or own vehicle but in case coming via public transport it takes around 1.5-2 hours. Next time in Kashmir then must visit.
