Ahmad Jamal (born Frederick Russell Jones, July 2, 1930) is an American jazz pianist, composer, bandleader, and educator. For five decades, he has been one of the most successful small-group leaders in jazz.

Listening to this Artist since 1950’s, in Chicago, takes me back to times when I was “Young and given wonderful opportunities as a young Black Woman, that Somme young women today, still cannot even dream about. It was a great time to grow up in the City, to be in college; to find Government jobs in the Summers and live without Pandemics.

le jazz n'est pas à la portée de toutes les mimines, mais ici, les bonnes vibrations s'égaient au service d'un art totalement maitrisé, la qualité aboslue du touché, du caressé, du cajolé, dans une attitude totalement classieuse, bravo à ces parfaits artistes, ambasseurs de la musique !
