You know, on other videos i've always felt like, yeah the climb can be done and it's a mind over matter, which yes I would say it still is that, but this was the first game i've ever watched/played that really demonstrated how far the gap between players are at the top and bottom of the ladders. Yay, Ahri! And I'm early! XD I know you dislike Ahri's lack of damage - believe me, I do as well - but as an Ahri main, it's pretty exciting to see you play her. I'll edit this comment when I watch the vid entirely, but thanks Pekin for the Ahri vid! Edit: 6:51 You talk about how safe Ahri is, and I completely agree. I mean, it isn't really an argument, but part of the reason Ahri became the first champ I mained is because I was able to learn how to play LoL with a relatively easy and safe champ. She's not as flashy as Akali, nor does she scale as well as Veigar, but she is a great beginner midlaner. If you learn how to play a role safely, you can feel more confident when you go in aggressively because you already know your own and the enemy team's limits. That, and Ahri is such a good champ that even if you go even in lane, you can provide a lot of utility for your team with your charm, repositioning, and the fact that many people will int trying to catch an Ahri that's not even fed XD. Picked up Lol after a long time and always wanted to play ahri cause I liked her design. But seem to struggle with combat. (With most Champions there is a curve of improvement except with ahri for me) So this video was really helpful. :)

i always go liandrys + cosmic drive with ahri just so i can get lots of cdr for my ult and i like the way it works. then deathcap or even demonic embrace. honestly i just love burning people tbh

Obviously you're challenger and I'm def not, but, I hate your reasoning on Mejai's being risky to purchase even at 10 stacks. It sells for 1120, so even if you die and lose the stacks / fall back in line, you can always just sell it and get the needless that it was worth to begin with. My logic has always been it doesn't matter if you die and lose the stacks because then you just insta-sell it

at 24 minutes you should have bought dcap instead of shadow flame, sett only one with a shield and you had full mejais, shadow flame is more of an early game item cause the pen is based on missing health, dcap is a much better buy at that point in the game vs that team with the items you already had

every time pekin speaks i feel the bronze in my blood. as i consider ahri a terrible pick lately, not abble to 1v1 any good 1v1 champs, bad wave clear until lv 9 (unless feed), horrible scalling compared to other champs (you can be 4 kills ahead a behind sylas will still 100 to 0 you or zed.. or yasuo or yone). this just has to tell the different mindset of a pro and a noob like me. and since these extended fight godlike champs are popular (udyr, atrox, yone) your shitty damage will just be outhealed by any of these monsters even with morello.
