@@noahblair9879 Yeah I also am confused. Usually ranged minions would just keep attacking you until you walk away, right? Or was it because the Qiyana was quite far away from the minions?

@@endmyexistence its because the way to do it is that the minions projectiles have to be in the air when you hit the enemy. For some reason minions will target you for the next volley, but when their projectiles hit the your minions, they will retarget the minions instead of target you. This way where if you auto while their projectiles are in the air, the minions will never target you. You also need to be further away from the melee minions since they will have no trouble targetting you though. This is probably due to a loss of target whenever the minion auto is in the air, since I would assume that it loses "aggro" when the minion flies, so it will default to it's usual priority (minion -> tower -> nexus) As for why it targeted pekin, and then retargeted the minions is a super weird tech. It's probably based on you autoing when the minion auto flew to pekin. Since the minion attack was in the air when he targeted, this runs the same code as before. It checks to see nearby champions, (pekin has attacked), then attack, and then reruns it because the minion wants to attack again, but since it doesn't save champion aggro during the flight of the projectile it probably just went back to the minion. So basically: Minion Shoots Minion Pekin Shoots Qi Minion Aggros on Pekin Minion Shoots Pekin Shoots Qi (before minions attack lands on him) Minion Loses Aggro Then repeats from there. In this case it would be a code oversight by riot but shhh

Whenever Pekin auto's the enemy champ, the ranged creeps are in the middle of their attack animation on his wave, so even though he gets aggro for a little bit (you can see the aggro icon over their heads) he's not attacking qiyana when they "look" so he immediately drops aggro. Knight did it playing as lb into Galio a year-ish ago and analysis videos about it were popular iirc. Search up: "How to trade without drawing any minion aggro?" here on youtube and you should find at least 1 that breaks it down in enough detail. It's a pretty advanced mechanic and the timing window is small.

Looked like a creep block to me rather than a problem with not being able to click on the ground. I've noticed Pekin doesn't use target champs only and is still really precise with his clicks.
