Thank you Gentlemen, a thoroughly enlightening and enjoyable program, However, as the debate moved on, it took me straight to Biblical information, with the result that I am even more impressed with our creator! HIS Perfection, precision AND purity are immediately evident. I love that your speculations took you into the areas that most people feel threatened by! However I am not afraid, GOD IS IN CONTROL and He has not left us without the information and hope we need at this precise time! You speak in many decades into the far future, without considering God''s very precise timeline for the world's immediate future. Many, myself included, have pondered the very questions they have been discussed on this podcast, with the same instinctive uneasiness, mentioned. However there really isn't much timeline left. Certainly not any worth worrying about since God has left us a blueprint of these 'last days'! It would seem that no matter what schemes humanity may dream up or plan, our near future is already set and although 'not all joy' and getting increasingly worse almost daily, the time is very short now, which also gives us tremendous, uplifting hope.

Thank you for sharing your insight and wisdom gentlemen...... My heart is saying the same thing too. I think most true believers are on the same page and see the Babylon beast system golden cage being built around humanity. God help us all, God bless everyone.

How do you know that any supernatural claims made in the bible are true?
@krustysurfer
@krustysurfer 2 жыл бұрын
@@TheTruthKiwi That is what faith is, believing without seeing, knowing without witnessing the supernatural the miraculous and the acts of love carried out by Love incarnate...... A otherworldly peace in exchange for trusting the promises written in the word. Pray for God to show you the way home, I can only bear witness to who I call Jesus in my personal life and point you to the written word. Prayer is the vehicle of faith, this is the way to God, it is thru Jesus the Messiah.

@@krustysurfer But one could have faith that magical pixies created the universe or that we are living in the matrix therefore faith alone is not a good pathway to truth. How do you know that the natural universe didn't originate naturally?
@krustysurfer

@@TheTruthKiwi well God did set the universe in motion and the creation of the universe is actually before the first day of creation so who knows how long that could be it could be the 14 billion years or however long they say it is and as far as believing in pixies well my bet is on what is written in the word it makes the most sense out of all the research that I've done and there are physicists mathematicians and scientists that say there is a divine order to everything obviously something had to be very smart intelligent and compassionate to make this all possible so my bet is on Jesus

Surely using just a computer to do maths the imagination of a human is lost ? Humans never fail to amaze in the roads they venture down whereas (I imagine) computers cannot venture off the "road" and down all sorts of branches of "roads" ???

Can anybody explain to me why we need AI? Does it make us better, more understanding, more compassionate, less self-centred, less selfish? Does it actually enhance our humanity, our capacity for love, for appreciating beauty? Give me a day when I can lie down in the grass and watch the clouds and birds and be thankful to God for it all over ANY AI wizardry. AI is turning out to be the most alluring, most perfect idolatry.

@@kbeetles Did I say you were partaking in idolatry? I just find it funny that you mock people that idolise something that doesn't exist when you yourself idolise something that most likely doesn't exist, that's all. :)

@@TheTruthKiwi - I know that redefining words is the rage of this era.....I would point you back to the Old Testament but I am not sure you would know what I am saying. The problem starts when flippancy about God is mistaken for understanding life and reality. The line of my comment was not about God (apart from the meaningful feelings of appreciation for the created world of organic life around us) but about the contrast of the promises between immersing yourself in real life or in an artificial world. And I wondered how come we fail to ask the most important questions meanwhile: how is our lived experiences and ourselves as human beings are enhanced by AI.

completely agree. Nothing in the virtual world is something that is as good and pure as the real world. God Created this beautiful cosmos for us to EXPERIENCE. not live through the eyes of a machine.

The reason there is a universal agreement on basic values all over the world (as C S Lewis found) is because God put His natural law into every creature on earth. This is our basic ethical values which we discern with our conscience. In a way it is another proof of God's existence. But God also put free will into humans and thus there are some who deliberately go against their conscience. The problem with those who propagate Artificial Intelligence is that many of them aim to use it in ways that are contrary to the natural law.

I would disagree with John Lennox on the universality of ethics. There are people, who'd love certain things done to them, which I wouldn't like to be done to me. And there probably are people, who'd torture babies too.
