I like that the Spearmaster AI is trying to eat by holding pickup but because Spearmaster has no mouth they're instead creating endless spears

I remember the first time I played with these scugs Rivulet shoved themself in a pipe and never came out, Gourmand and Monk stole my pups, Arti repeatedly hit Saint with a rock, to the point the poor guy didn't even get a chance to get up, Spearmaster grabbed me, and proceeded to drag me all around the room, Arti then moved on to lapidate Hunter instead, and Survivor just stood there

I have to wonder what they were planning with npc campaign slugcats... Why's the artificer one so hostile to them, is that how they're meant to be characterized out of player control, just totally hostile to anything and everything? Figured they could at least make some friends lmao

It atacks everything, pups, scugs, lizards,lampsters, yeeks, everything. Pretty acurate for me. But It doesnt eat it

Another comment mentioned that (and minor spoilers ahead for Artificer's campaign) one of the Artificer's dreams has you playing as a scavenger competing against an AI-controlled Artificer. I doubt they would implement any checks for aggression if the AI is used in that specific circumstance only. I didn't see all the dream sequences myself since I didn't take long enough but it seems plausible

Why is Arti the only one that's naturally aggressive? Like you'd think hunter or SM would be but I've only seen this behavior from Arti NPCs

They are the only true agresive slugcat SM and Hunter are artificial idk why they would have been made agresive

@@Creatures_of_the_Everquarry humans have something wrong on a natural level with eating human meat And slugcats have a couple things in common with humans so I don't see why slugcats wouldn't do the same But also why would hunter attack his own species when there is a abundance of food on the ground, hunter is still Omnivorous tough he requires a lot more protein(I guess because the rot) that's why he doesn't gain much from anything else

i'm pretty sure it's because of some of the later artificer dream sequences! bit of a spoiler if you haven't seen all of the dreams, but you control a scavenger in a sequence there where you fight artificer, so their ai is very violent as opposed to other the slugcats who essentially just run on standard slugcat ai

I used BeastMaster to spawn them in. You can find it on the Steam workshop. (I would put a link here but KZfaq purges any comments with links from my experience)

I think this is the Cutscene Slugcat set for Dress My Slugcat Which can make Slugcats look similar to the drawn versions of them which are mainly seen in cutscenes
