With my cats, birds rarely stand a chance to stand down before they are captured and tortured to death. My cats have no interest in chasing bunnies or field mice, etc. Those creatures will run but the cats are faster. They only go for the birds. Maybe it's the challenge.

@@WhatsWrongWithTheStreet my one outside (actually its the neighbors cat, she has excommunicated them) has the ability to catch and kill EVERTHING! ive had bunnies moles vols birds and yesterday a squirrel all show up missing parts and or just small pieces in my garage. There also seems to be this kidney shaped organ she leaves in a bloody pool on the regular not sure what it belongs to. yesterday the squirrel was obviously dead for a while before she drug its headless body into my garage to be found by my olfactory senses and I must say it was pungent.
