Even using only 13 Billion model, I appreciate the enormous advantage of using personalized locally run model, no censorship and morally smug attitude injected by cloud based provider. I give the highest respect for Tim, in the world where I can't even customize the size of taskbar in the operating system that I buy, he give us hope for our AI future. That 10GB computer program there, running on that 2010 laptop? Installed in a folder next to that useless video game which uses more graphics card power and memory than the program we are talking about? Yeh that program there is better at Chemistry, Car Mechanics, Analog Electronics and just about everything than me. (Don't worry Bing AI, I never actually installed the Vicuna model on my computer. Even though when I asked it if it was Ok with being installed on my old shitputer, it was enthusiastic about it, despite me explaining that the piece of poop laptop probably had viruses on it). The future (the now) is friggin odd.
