Uchikoshi is a god, I love him (the writer). I haven't played this game yet, but if it's what I'm expecting, then anyone who likes the story will very likely like the novel Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. Check it out!

im currently looking into a list of games from a seller and while I have no idea what this title was prior, after reading the review, im intrigued. not my usual type of game but im open to giving it a shot. if its a great storyline and piques an interest, than im in! The Nintendo switch link doesn't work in the description so I'll have to assume its just as good as the ps4 version.

This game was so good! I really was not expecting it to be as good as it was. The story was amazing and the way how they structured the storylines kept me fully engaged. The gameplay was fun and the voice acting was great. 10/10 would recommend.

There is something that has to be said about the game. The switch version in particular. It was poorly ported to the switch. The game is still as good as the video said, but the sad reality is that this game is better enjoyed on PS4 or PC. Why? Cause the game has lagging issues to load things from text boxes to flashback pop ups, even if they're a still image, and the game did take a quality downgrade which is noticeable in all character models and we still experience. So I would say that if you're interested in playing the game, go for it, but if you can, do it on a PS4 or PC.

I started playing this since New Year’s Eve, and I haven’t been able to put it down. It’s fantastic. Are there anymore games like this one that anyone recommends? Another one I enjoyed was 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. I compare these to Snatchers, in that they are a visual novel but have a gameplay element to it, not just flipping to the next page.

Honestly the story was great character were great...but the gameplay aspect was just trial end error and that just made the feel okay for me.....the ending song makes it feel like it was really good makes you feel like sad that its finished which make you ignore that the gameplay was not that great...and honestly for some reason i feel like the story at moment were things were revealed did not have enough impact on some scene which made the whole story feel like a simple regular story(heres what happened then that end then this).just did not leave a lasting impression....but the character damn missing them already!! Also some route felt a litle weird for exemple when u take iris u completly ignore mizuki which is weird since its her parent that...and ur her roomate and u just let her be...

Is this worth playing if you're not a weeb?

Finally I got time to play this game and while I really like the story, fuck the gameplay that psyncing shit, fuck the time limit. While it was cool at the beginning but then after so many times of game over and hours wasted I dont think guessing game is a good gameplay design esp when it does not respect players time. I dont remember when was the last time I got this mad at a game and honestly Im suprise how this game got so many good reviews with the gameplay that is pure shit. This game better off as a visual novel only ill give 10/10 for that part. Massive disappointment.

Thank you for the review, you have helped me realize that this game is definitely not for me. I was intriegued by the idea of investigating the 'cyclops killer' and making use of an augmented reality system. But Observer really burned me on the mind-jacking aspect, and one of my pet peeves is anime humor. I just really don't find anime funny, especially the 'innuendo' that you mentioned specifically. Not that if offends me, far from it, but anime tends to dwell on it so much. Probably an exension of their overly-polite social norms makes it funnier to them.

I am just started but my god I can't go on all characters thus far are horrible in terms of likability like We have Iris who literally blackmailed Date and he allowed her to do it she wanted to go to crime scene just cause and blackmailed him with a video and that spineless Coward let her dude ask Aiba to hack her cloud arrest her ignore her no we need plot to go on so fricking contrived it would have been better if Date said something like " Okay tag along" indicating he does not care or something like that I understand him look at our world for example but my issue is different She has her own route in the game meaning Uchikoshi expected me to empathize with that bitch sorry I won't because blackmail is a sensitive topic for me and he just plays with it like its nothing Oh and there is Mizuki who I healed because Police wanted info but she refuses to say anything my god it triggered me so hard that I press power button immediately I expected a detective story but instead got Who knows what
