I am so glad so many players have come out in support of the play calls. Doesn't matter what the media or the fans on the outside are saying. Inside that building, inside that organization, they are one mindset, one unit, all in agreement. That's what makes this team what it is.

Way to sneak in the "did you agree with DC's decision to go for it on 4th against the 9ers" question. Love how AH went right at it head on and backed his coach's decision 100%. I'm not Lions fan and typically appreciate Simms takes, but the way he, Florio and others act like DC decision to go for it on 4th down cost them the game is bs...hindsight 20/20 argument. Simms, do you really think AH is going to say "you're right, we shouldn't have gone for it Chris"??

Everyone is dogging Campbell for those 4th downs, but seems to forget they went for it on 4th in the first game in 2023, made it, and the announcers loved it.

@@Jleed989One or both of those calls may have been situationally wrong, but Campbell’s aggressive style and confidence in his players took the Lions from 5-11 to 12-5 in three years. It’s very much the opposite of Reid’s set Mahomes up for accolades through superlative defensive and special teams play.

There is a lot of truth to that but being from Michigan and a Lion's fan who has migrated to sunnier climes Southern Cal, I believe a lot of these lion's fans live in a lot of the opposition's home territory and showing up at the Lion's away games. For the first time I've come out of the closet as a Lion's fan...

I think Dan Campbell meant that this was the only shot with this exact group of guys - that next year there will be additions and subtractions and some guys that he really wanted to win this for won't be here. The NFL loves its dynasties - the Chiefs and 49ers have been to the championship game repeatedly the last five years and the Pats had so many appearances it was stupid. The Lions are poised to do run deep for the next several years and hopefully the Pats pick in the top 5 for the next 30.

the reason the ;lions travel well is cause they have a lot of people that moved out of detroit over the years (including myself) so whenever the lions come to town now its a must buy ticket. I went to the Dallas game and it was a blast, even though it ended horribly

Yup, I'm from Detroit but live in Maryland, went to the Lions game in Baltimore...that wasn't very fun TBH. I anticipated a close game, but a Lions victory and it was a disaster from the start. The worst part were the empathetic Ravens fans feeling sorry for me, I hate that shit! I would rather be hated and catch flack from the opposing fans because the Lions are just so damn good. However, I don't think opposing fan bases will have sympathy for Lions fans any longer, those days are over.

As a diehard life long lions fan approaching 60, I was crushed by the second half collapse. I still believe the coach made terrible decisions by not kicking field goals. Also crushed by Reynolds drops and how a DB turned an interception into a WR reception. I will watch the SB. Go 49ers. Can’t stand chiefs.
