I always watch your videos with great interest .I was born in 1950 and can clearly understand the concerns you’ve got about Pakistan’s deteriorating social norms.I live in Scotland and visit Pakistan every year. In 2022 October did few hiking trips to the north including Fairy meadows etc.My greatest concern is the exploding population of this country is eating up all the social values .Joined with illiteracy and increasing religiosity has become lethal combination.Scotland has a population of 5.5 million comparing to Lahore where I spent 40 years of my younger days is surpassing 135 millions. Dear Mr Tahir, it is our population growth that is destroying everything, And I mean EVERYTHING. Governments are terrified of the mullahs for no reason at all. One serious "Boo" and the mullahs will fold. But we are held hostage. There seems to be little hope.

@@odysseuslahori you are absolutely right. When I am in Pakistan like these days I try to talk to the youngsters on that topic to educate them in a rational way .My wife warns me to abstain from that. But keeping quite I think is a crime .

Good evening Salman sahib Our people have to make up their own entertainment and particularly the hill billes love to embellish local hiking and trekking tales with horror and witches, One universal legend is the witch -pichal paeree- who when your look falls to the feet has the toes pointing backwards & who way lays unsuspecting daytrippers and as a parting shot utters " you foiled my cunning plan you lucky bastard and I'll let you go this time but I would sautee your liver & kidneys with onions " the hale traveller falls inexplicably sick with high grade fever 🤒 and is lucky to survive the encounter Not unlike mustansar Saab who's fantasy is to harrass pretty damsels 🙈

Indeed, sir. Tales of pichhal pairees were a dime a dozen back in the 1970s. There were few roads in the Salt Range and men from my unit in the army had to walk miles to reach their villages. Invariably, there was a tale of darkness coming on and some strange apparition stalking them. Picchal pairees were frequent too.

اسہی چینل پر ایک بار بتایا تھا کہ ہم نے کس طرح چلاسیوں سے بکرا کی دستی لی۔ وہ بکرا انہوں نے ایک گجر سے چوری کیا تھا۔ اس کے علاوہ بھی ایک آدھ کہانی ہے لیکن کیا سنانی۔
