These temples are of ancestors of present people of Pakistan, they disown them because of their present religious mind set :)

"Alexander founded a city at the confluence of the Indus and Acesines rivers and called it Alexandria." (Anabasis Alexandri by Arrian, Book VI, Chapter 15) "He built other cities on the banks of the river, and others in the interior, which were named after him." (Natural History by Pliny the Elder, Book VI, Chapter 23) "After the conquest of the country, he founded cities, some of which he named after himself, including Alexandria in the territory of the Malli, and another in the country of the Oxydracae." (Geographica by Strabo, Book XV, Chapter 1, Section 28) "Alexander founded two cities on the banks of the Hydaspes, one of which he called Nicaea in memory of his victory in the battle, and the other Bucephala in memory of his horse Bucephalus, who died there." (Anabasis Alexandri by Arrian, Book V, Chapter 19) "On the river Hydaspes, where his horse Bucephalus died, he founded a city called Bucephala in honor of the steed." (Histories of Alexander the Great by Curtius Rufus, Book IX, Chapter 3) "Alexander founded Bucephala on the banks of the Hydaspes in memory of his horse Bucephalus who died there." (Ancient India as Described by Megasthenes and Arrian by J. W. McCrindle, page 214) "And he ordered two cities to be built by the bloodied sands of the Jhelum, one to be named Nicaea [Victory] and the other Bucephala, because the war horse which had been his companion for seventeen years was buried there." (Alexander of Macedon: The Journey to Worlds End by Harold Lamb, Chapter 18, Page 309)

His grandson Nawabzada Syed Shams Haider was an MPA from PMLN in 90’s. Shams’s younger brother is Syed Qamar Haider. Both were formanites. Shams used to live in FCC Scheme, at the rear of Ch Zahoor Ilahi’s home.

Salman sb, I actually visited Kan Mehtarzai Railway station on way back to Quetta from Zhob in November 2023. Learnt about it from your earlier video. Met the caretaker Mr. Noor Muhammad there. Such a pity that the line became dysfunctional and even the railway station itself has been left to rot and decay at the mercy of time and vandals. I kept searching for the railway station's sign board which you had so remarkably captured, but alas, even that had been taken apart or sold in scrap. The water tank and the dilapidated station building however remain steadfast. Wish we could have preserved our heritage.

Ustad g, greetings from Ashfaq Khan TDCP. Sir, conservation and rehabilitation is a must to protect and this kind of heritage. Government departments receive Ministers and bureaucrats to lead their non practiced department. So, our major endeavor on daily bases is to train the boss about tourism and conservation. It is not their cup of tea.
@salmanrashid88802 күн бұрын
Certainly not their cup of tea. That is why we are losing our cultural and built heritage at such a fast pace.
