My visits to the the gorgeous bride of the yesteryears (Lahore) shall remain incomplete and shallow till you grace a mere mortal such as I, a chunk of your valuable time one day. I do not have an iota of doubt regarding your remarkable memory; it's just that you've likely mistook me for someone else, possibly my namesake. Great info salman sahib. I have recently found ur channel. After watching ur videos Its fair to say that You are a true history and archaeology lover. Furthermore, regarding the Greek vs Persian wars historical sources quote that the Greeks were united under Alexander's father king Philip of Macedonia. Previously they had a history of bitter infighting amongst each other and therefore were subjugated by the Persians many times. After king Philips death Alexander embarked on his military campaign against the Great achaemenid Persian empire. He also used to consult his great teacher Aristotle and used to send him various samples of interest for the further development of Greek arts and sciences. Marching onwards into hostile territory fighting and conquering satrap after satrap of darius the greats empire he entered India. As far as my research is concerned, Alexander undertook his Indian campaign and marched thru this particular route of bajaur Because he wanted to do what Greek famous mythological hero herakles and later roman hercules couldn't do.. It is said that Herakles in his adventures especially during his Indian adventure was defeated on top of a mountain in a valley by some fierce mythological creature or group of people located in the northern areas of Pakistan So Alexander during his Persian conquest set out to do what hercules son of zeus couldn't do And he successfully defeated warring people in the northern areas of Pakistan After that Alexander meets king ambhi of taxila and fights with king porus near jehlum as he marches thru India...

@@salmanrashid8880 My parents and grandparents emigrated from Talagang. Your Punjabi is similar. Are you from that area?

@@arunanand2809 No. I am not from Talagang. My grandfather (dada), a medical doctor served as the civil surgeon at Talaga back in the 1930s. Our original home is Jalandhar, village Uggi. I speak the Punjabi of the Jalandhar Doab, now more taken over by Lahori. The Talagang dialect is vastly different from Doaba Punjabi dialects.

سرجی ! میں اس وقت بریکوٹ میں ھوں _مجھے اپ کے کام اور سچائی کی وجہ سے اپ سے گویا عشق ھے _ اوڈیگرام کی چشموں سے مجھے بڑی محبت تھی _ اس کے خشک ھونے پر میں بہت رویا تھا _ سرجی ! یہاں محمد پرویش شاھین نام کا ادمی ھے انہوں نے شاید 30 سے ذیادہ کتابیں لکھی ھیں _ وہ بتاتے ھیں کہ اسکندراعظم کا وہ جنگ جس میں وہ زخمی ھواتھا _ اویگرام سے تقریبا 20 کلومیٹر کالام کے طرف منگلور کے مقام پر ھواتھا ۔ اور یہ کوئی عام ادمی نہیں ھے اس ادمی کے ذریعے سے میں نے ادم خان کا قبر معلوم کیا تھا جو پشتو کی سب سے مشھور عشقیہ داستان ادم خان درخانئی کا کردار ھے _ اللہ اپ کا نگہبان ھو _

9:57 is it eucalyptus there ? If yes that’s not a very good sign I guess. Sir, wanted to inquire if the pala king , Devapala ever fight with the remaining hunas , during their campaigns of northern India ?

It is indeed eucalyptus. The entire hill is now denuded of pine and replanted with eucalyptus. After the defeat of the Huns at the hands of Yasodharman and Balajit, the Huns retreated to India and I think they did have a confrontation with Devapala's army.

@@sharadchandakacherla8268 We have several horticultural problems. Eucalyptus, the invasive paper mulberry imported from China in 1962 to turn the new Islamabad green and now the water-guzzling and destructive conocarpus. We are as a nation very foolish.

سر آپ اچھے وی لوگ کرتے ہیں، برائے مہربانی رومن اردو الفاظ کی بجائے اردو میں تحریر فرمایا کریں، یہ بہت خوبصورت زبان ہے اور کم پڑھے لکھے لوگ اس کو آسانی سے پڑھ سکتے ہیں۔دریا سندھ کا نام بھثو صاحب نے دیا، اب بھی اوپر کے علاقے اس کو دریا اباسین کہتے ہیں sind کے ہیجے،sindu بھٹو صاحب نے آہین میں لکھواے اور کئ دن وزارت داخلہ، قانون میں یہ مسئلہ پر ا رہا، پھر بھثو صاحب نے ڈنڈا چلا کر اسے sindu آہین میں لکھایا۔شکریہ

بھائی میرے، بھٹو کوں ہوتا ہے سندھو کا نام رکھنے والا۔ آج سے ۴۰۰۰ سال پہلے آنے والے ہمارے آریا اباواجداد نے یہ نام اس دریا کو دیا تھا۔ یہ سب رگ وید میں درج ہے۔

جناب سلمان رشید جہانیاں جہاں گشت ! آپ کی داستانوں میں تاریخ بکھری پڑی ھے۔ جو محققانہ معلومات سے معمور ھے۔ خاص طور پر الگزانڈر سے متعلقہ حقائق سے پردہ اٹھانے میں بڑے وثوق سے منظر کشی کرتی چلی جاتی ھے۔ پھر بدھ اور بعد کے زمانوں کو بھی خوب نکھارتی ھے لیکن حضرت مسیح کے عہد اور گلگت کشمیر کے عہد میں متذبزب ھو جاتی ھے ( یہ بات ناچیز آپ کی کہانیوں میں بیان شدہ باتوں کی بنا۶ پر لکھ رھا ھے) جبکہ یہ سب کچھ بائبل کے عبرانی اسما۶ جو اب تک قائم چلے آتے ھیں ؛ میں جیتا جاگتا موجود ھے۔ امید ھے آپ اس احقر کی نشاندہی پر اپنے علم و فضل کی حق بجانب دستار کے خلاف نہیں سمجھیں گے۔
