I LOVE that CDR actually acknowledges past contestants and highlights them. Like HOW have we not had any past winners on the jugding pannel or having queens songs for a lipsync on USDR, at least hey are getting better at acknowlede past contestants like the first-out challenge for example.

I am convinced Melinda Verga is the greatest mastermind we have ever had on drag race. How she got out of that situation and got the beaver was WILD. I lived for every second of untucked holy shit. Melinda said I want to lipsync and go home, had a scene, then turned it on Nearah and then Nearah turned it on Aimee and then Aimee redirected back to Nearah and everyone just forgot about Melinda saying she is done and the Kiki no longer knowing what to do with her beaver gives it to Melinda because Aimee and Nearah want to fight each other. Holy shit Melinda is 5Head for this play. I love so much now. This is how you make 10/10 TV. Melinda said I want to lipsync, then Nearah said NO I WANT TO LIPSYNC, then Aimee said NOOOO IIII WAANNNTTT TOOO LIPSYNNCCC. I was thoroughly gagged and bounded by what just occurred. We have never seen 3 queens want to lipsync for their lives this badly lmaoooo

I hate to be a Debby Downer but I don’t think Melinda masterminded this. I think she’s a cut and dry case of a queen who isn’t ready to handle this much criticism and discouragement from the competition and she’s lashing out and giving up because she’s in her head. If she truly big brained her way out of the bottom she would be thanking her lucky stars for being saved but the teaser for the next episode showed that she continued to rant and rave about the judges so… it’s easier for me to believe she’s genuinely just hurt and angry and Kiki took pity on her :/

Reasons I was cool with this double save: the potential drama of Aimee vs Nearah, Aimee had been impressing the judges up to this ep while this was Nearah's 2nd time being in the bottom 3, and Nearah - though she did damn thing - didn't do anything new or totally original while Aimee was serving face/humor at points the judges enjoyed (I know she didn't know all the words, but other contestants have gotten away with it by moving around). Besides real talk they probably wanted to cut Melinda, but since she was saved it was like well we like both and they give us drama and moments. Let's keep them a week.

Depends on the song. This song is not about face, is about attitude and high energy and while Aimee was on part in the beggining she felt flat on Lemon's verse wich is pretty much the highlight of that song.

Y'all, Canada hasn't ever done a double shantay. It's a different franchise than the other shows. If Brooke sees Aimee serving it the last couple weeks, and giving massive fight and entertainment on the stage, I'm all for a double shantay. It's her choice, not yours. A double shantay does not mean it was a tie. And on top of all of this, these two are bringing massive drama. Just enjoy the show ffs.

I feel like the editing to this lip sync clip is doing such disservice towards Aimee. Like all the shade during the lip sync she threw at Neara was HILARIOUS. Ppl claim she didn't know the words or didn't give energy etc, it's the edit y'all. In the full length version there's much more that happened and reason why Brookelynn kept Aimee, cause it was really a lip sync for YOUR LIFE, Aimee had fire. I think Neara did good, but a lil too much relying on stunts and i see younger fans claim that these stunts are everything, it validates a "peroformer." It's a lip sync baby. We have to see you emote, tell story, make you feel something and not just stunting. I see a lot of these new fans say the best performers are ppl like laganja, jorgeous. Like yeah they are amazing dancers, but a lip sync differs from a choreo, dance number. There are valid reasons, why sometimes you see a non dancer stay over a dancer.

Am I the only one who thinks CDR has the worst lipsync edits? Virtually no close ups on faces, way too many cuts, the lighting, etc. It's really jarring when you compare it to, say, Bosco vs. Lady Camden or Jackie vs. Heidi N Closet.

So this was a double Shantay... I know it's rough to say but sorry Aimee was EATEN by Nearah in this lipsync and I still dunno why this was a double Shantay on this one.
