clinker I saw him open for Beth Hart just a few days ago. I had found Matt's music on KZfaq a while back and loved it ...so when I was at the Taft Theater for Beth, I didn't know Matt was the opener....talk about excited! I was thrilled that it was he whom I'd found on YT. And what a display of awesome talent. Beth Hart raved about Matt on her set too. Altogehter, it was one amazing show!

I think he had an audio track playing that note at the end just for fun.. if you listen, right when he starts that note, you hear the audio sorta spasm... I think cuz I His volumes didn't blend perfectly. This is the best version of this song I've ever heard

If you believe it is objectively the best music being produced today, and that it is born out of a genuine love for music, I and many others can refute that. Some people (myself included) think it would be more equitable if people like this guy got more exposure and the commercial, over-produced pop "sensations" got less.

I understand where people are coming from when they say "this is overdone". But you have to understand, this is a blues musician, doing a blues version cover of an amazing song. And he has one of the most powerful voices on planet earth. For him to understate his talent would be a travesty. This is exactly what a Matt Andersen fan wants to see when they see him perform. This is HIM. The Blues are passionate and emotional, and this is perfect in my opinion.
