@@joanquintero4670 People wrongly assumed he was a Baritone because: 1. He has good lows. 2. He struggled with belts (very tense some 4th octave notes and up). But they didn't take into account that: 1. He doesn't have the timbre of a Batitone. 2. He doesn't have the vocal weight of a Baritone. 3. He still had a higher tessitura than a Baritone. A Baritone with all that tension wouldn't get up to those notes like that. 4. His lows are good but not to the level of good Baritobe lows. If anything, Beyoncé is an underrated vocalist. Some will always downplay her vocals and/or pull a “she’s great but not THAT great!” Or inevitably compare her with others range from 0 to 100 years old, man/woman, cross-genres and professions 🙄 I’m glad that at least from 2020 onwards there’s seems to be a collective agreement (at least on Twitter) that she IS a start-rated vocalist and being respected enough regardless of how people like her crafts or not.

Beyoncé is actually very underrated when it comes to her voice(can sound soft, strong, rasp whenever she want, it's not too thin like sopranos, and nor too dark like alto) her vocal abilitys is very underrated too, come on, she is star listed vocalist, by vocals experts, and unique in 21st century popular music, she is versatil, so great musicality. The general public is unable to see past her beauty, success, and her performing aspects (the dancing, booty shaking, light effects, and fans). For those reasons, they won't admit to her vocal prowess.

I like how Morisette’s whistle wasn’t forced on her so she can have an advantage on other female singers. It’s sounds like it’s inborn and natural. Also she can hold her whistle, do a lot of whistle runs on it in a prolonged & contolled but very clean manner. I always believe that the whistle register part of the song should not be the thing that gives the song its identity but man! Can Morisette sing! She’s a solid super belter without thinning her voice at the top registers. I’m only going to comment about Morisette not compare her because I’m not a vocal coach.

I wonder if it's a testament to having thicker cords. I know some people believe she's light lyric of some nature. Personally, I don't hear it, and want to stay out of a deep discussion of it atp. She frequently growls, grunts, stretches into flageolet, and heavy belting back to back. If it weren't for her being untrained, I'd swear she was a high contralto. Most singers don't have cords with that kind of endurance or resistance to wear and tear. Especially naturally light voices.

She can also phrase words in whistles, whistling while mouth closed and hit whistles from as low as A4 up to F7. (Her whistles can reach D8 from her whistle glides but the melodic ones reached until F7 I think) Morissette is clearly the better whistler compared to Ariana but people tend to see Ariana often because she is much more famous. Shawn Mendes got me shook to the core! He always sounded like a untrained Tenor that used to sing as a baritone, to a point that I felt that I was triggered by that. The same when the lead vocalist of 5 seconds of summer (Luke Hemmings) back in 2014, I think it was due to puberty but also this voice was obviously a Tenor, but he has so much throatiness that a A4 that should come natural for him it didn't back in the day. But in 2016 he improved so bad that he started to sing like a actual Tenor and the quality of his A4 improved and his falsetto improved and he improved on adaptation into rock music, that even though 5sos is a pop rock bad the drummer and lead guitarist sounded more like rock/pop rock/punk vocalists... and his distortions improved so much also!

These are my thoughts: 1. Beyoncé is not overrated as a vocalist; you're right in saying so! 2. Shawn is improving! His mix has gotten so much better and he doesn't crack continuously like he used to 3. Madison can control her high notes a lot better now (earlier, her upper belts were really, really bad and were extremely pitchy but now they're a lot less like that) 4. I know it's meant as an exaggeration but the only reason that people may think that is because Christina lowers her larynx a lot when she belts so she strains very easily, otherwise she would only begin straining at around C5/C#5. 5. People mostly lipsync because of choreo or to rest their voices after overuse so I disagree with this 6. I agree with this and I am perfectly okay with it because it is for a good reason 7. Camila's vocal skills really are overshadowed! Her vocal technique is far better than people think it is and even though she sounds a bit nasally in her upper range, it's alright! 8. I agree with you on this one. In Between Us, Jade and Leigh-Anne both get to sing the verses, Leigh-Anne and Perrie sing the pre-choruses and Perrie and Jade sang the choruses (Leigh-Anne also sang a bit of the last chorus, before the climax) 9. I agree tbh. Jade and Leigh-Anne from Little Mix were in a similar situation until recent years (because their voices darkened, it was noticeable that Leigh-Anne's voice is actually darker than Jade's). I'm not even kidding, when I first listened to Secret Love Song Pt. II, I could've sworn I heard Leigh-Anne singing the second part of the first chorus but then I realised it was Jade 10. Ailee's head voice is definitely her strongest register. Her middle register is actually worse than people think it is (yes, she has good technique up to F5 but beyond that... no thank you) 11. Sabrina's vibrato is probably one of the worst parts of her voice. She has a really good technique for someone of her age but her vibrato isn't that good. 12. How is the twelfth one unpopular? It's quite obvious that Morissette is more adept in that register than Ariana is.

Christina doing that Camaleon tribute rehearsal with the sustained upper belts was the best I have heard her sound in a decade...at 40 years old. She is a freak of nature like wtf. In all those years she lost the ability to belt F5's and E5's but she can go down to C3's and the occasional B2 now so the range basically stayed the same. And the falsetto...is literally the same from 1999.

Them and Taylor Swift are the only singers that never/rarely lipsync. I've seen Demi do it back in her early Disney days when I used to adore their music. I would see every performance from them so I noticed the lipsync a few times (which I don't mind at all) but I think after growing up Demi took larger control of their choices as a performer and decided to just never do it which I respect a lot. Taylor vowet the same thing since day one have done it too. I can think of a few times when she did lipsync, but it was moments when she was particularly sick and just wouldn't be able to do anything else about it, since she never ever cancels her shows/performances. so 99% of the time both of them sing live.

First 2 clips of her whistle notes shown in this vid is from her own songs. She has 1 album and 1 EP. The album is a mix of original songs and covers. Most of the original songs are in Tagalog and unfortunately, it doesn't get as much international attention as her covers of English language songs. Her EP is all original and in English all of them were written by her. Personally, i think the music is really good but her lyrics are a little weak. Understandable because English is her 3rd language. She's really more of a vocalist that a singer-song writer type of artist. She shines when interpreting songs written by other composers.

I couldn't agree more with everything. Beyoncé is one of the truly timeless and well developed technical, creative and talented singer of all time. Her voice is well rounded and if you notice, it's as though she is in her vocal prime, she knows where her voice performs best and effortlessly uses that range, her voice never sounds old. Morrisette Amon is truly a gifted user of the whistle register, she has honed her skills and is by far better singer than Ariana Grande with use of the Whistle register, her whistles are wide, round, resonant and controlled, Ariana's whistle leaks a lot of air. Ariana doesn't also have the kind of range in the whistle register that Morrisette has, the only area i think Ariana might shine better than Morrisette, and that's just by a tad, is in her upper belts. Shawn is getting better and he must, i mean we don't make him richer everyday for him not to serve timeless vocals right? LITTLE MIX, my all time Fav are in their prime, serving hot vocal as usual and giving us gworls more creativity, love to see it. Madison beer is still yet to find her voice in my opinion, she sounds like she's singing with Ariana Grande's technique and not hers, even though she sounds pleasant enough to want to buy her music, that Ariana muffled low larnyx sound is very much evident, I'd love to see her open her throat more and let her full potential bloom because she is in fact talented

Beyonce really is a great vocalist and it such a shame that her recent music is lacking in interesting melodies that would utilize her top notch vocal techniques. She's been focusing more on making hiphop/rap style music recently because its the trend I guess. Good for her if that's what she wants.
