The only group that likes to criticize BM's singing is the fans.....fans who are already good at singing probably wouldn't do something like this. The group he likes to sing is not good. So I have to keep commenting that other people's songs aren't good instead.

Song is what matters. Good vocals diminish as u age, but songs remain the same till many decades. Ew Aespa the chipmunk or smurf voice🤮🤮. It's like tearing thin piece of metal. The scraping high pitch sound. Yck!

The problem is they can't dance. They have heavy feet, not smooth & agile. Facial expression is okay to basic.

I think what stands out for me is how different the vocalists are. All of them are great and like rora and chiquita are so young they are only going to get better. Remember they are in YG so their vocals are only going to improve. Ahyeon isn’t just a belter. She has a very unique tone which is why it sounds amazing every time she follows Rami. She has a raspier growling voice which contrasts rora and pharita sweeter voices. And then Rami is just what I like to call the “mic dropper”. She is clearly the main vocalist and she’s special because she has a soulful voice which is so rare in kpop so she stands out. I think in 5th gen there are no equals. When you start talking 4th gen you mentioned nmixx and what I would say is they are so young and they just debut so you can assume safely that they must get better with more experience. And we sleep on someone like Asa. I love Lisa but Asa is a better vocalist and I would argue is on par with her rapping. Lisa and blackpink have of course the ultimate weapon which is that they are the stage presence and performance masters but that’s with 7 years under their belts. Right now they are still not widely known but as they progress and collaborate with main stream artists people will start to ask who these girls arr

My impression from Babymonster at this point is that Rami and Pharita are definitely main vocals, quite probably Rora too. I am an absolute sucker for unique tones, and YG has always been so great at this, plus balancing out can be tricky, they do this well too, hence why in my opinion those 3 are very much likely the main vocals, they also have the most developed technique and versatility. Ahyeon can be tricky, I think YG's intention with her it's to stun the public, since she's probably FOTG, many see her as a "mini Jennie" so she has potential to bring A LOT of attention to the group, plus has a powerful tone. However, the belts are lacking technique. It's a comfortable area for her as you discussed but you can hear her faulter ever so slightly in the high note of "Sheesh" in some performances. She is an amazing singer and can become even better, but again, she's still so young, needs a lot of further training. It's the same with Chiquita. She has an interesting tone and she's versatile too, but she's so young, it's hard to say since her voice is still going to face several changes. She hasn't displayed much and has stayed in a comfortable range so far, but pre-debut has shown a lot of tension in a higher range when not doing falsetto. Asa, in my opinion, has shown better pre-debut vocal technique than her, even in "Stuck In The Middle" it's noticeable that Asa has vocal potential. Anyway, these are my two cents :) I think they are all immensely talented and as always, YG chooses singers with such different vocal colours, I'm always fascinated by their singers. And also, I love your videos! I'm a 10+ year musician, vocal teacher and have a BA and MA in vocals, so it's very hard to find opinions that aren't biased 😄 your videos are always very informative and accurate 👏
