Totally agree with this. Never sugar coat any type of immigration program. Nothing is easy. They are all different and have their own challenges. I find it weird and alarming that many Filipinos try to resort to AIPP because they think it is the "easiest| pathway. People always like the easiest route, which normally leads you to disaster. People should focus on what specific pathways would suit them better, and not the easiest or cheapest way. There are several pathways to be PR or to work in Canada but they should do their own research of all the pathways and decide from there which one is the most realistically attainable route. Thank you for doing this vlog! I hope more of our kababayans would learn from this and open their minds to other pathways (options) as well.

To everyone wishing to come to Canada as a permanent resident, every Canada Immigration pathway has its own pros and cons. There is no easy and assured program (except marrying a Canadian). To start, if you have an ielts and ECA, you can simultaneously apply to multiple programs such as express entry, AIPP, RNIP, PNP, and even quebec skilled immigration. It does not cost you to open a multiple profile and its totally acceptable. However, you should only choose one pathway when you start your PR application and this is the time you will pay for it. So go and grab every opportunity, you never know whats for you. Good luck!

Also, one more thing to add Rachel, most of the aipp designated employers are in F&B, so if you are in IT industry, might as well check other PR pathways. the pathway is employer driven kaya mahirap din tlaga, kaya lagi tlaga open for other PR pathways not just AIPP! :)

@@juliagonzalvo9215 based on my experience ha? Since I lived in Atlantic for almost two years - IT jobs are limited but probably check Halifax, dartmouth, moncton, fredericton. Those are the cities that probably you can look at. But opportunity wise - you have more jobs in BC or Toronto. PR wise? You have more pr pathways in Atlantic - it can open up to 4 major pr pathways so discuss it with ur immigration consultant - I am not sure but I think they are not equipped regarding the job market - what are their basis? Are they showing u some facts? If not - then they’re just guestimating their opinions. Try to look at the job market ng province. :) for me I based it on facts and experience since I studied and worked in NS for a bit, and working in BC so can see the difference terms of opportunity.

Dang! ..you hit the spot here.. :-) I think there's a misconception about the AIPP, and most of "Pinoy KZfaqr" sugar coating the truth about it, they have to clickbait on youtube just to get some money. Anyone intending to migrate should watch these type of videos to have a balanced & informed view about the reality of AIPP. People - Don't fall for the hype! youtube is full of Clickbait.
@rrdancel
@rrdancel 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Don, I have noticed many people being misinformed on various immigration topics. You are correct in that many KZfaqrs want that quick click bait and don’t deliver on the goods. I get many asking questions about the easiest and cheapest pathway to Canada and especially on AIPP. It’s good that you appreciate the hard truth. Again, thank you for commenting 😋

I can't believe the amount of hate you're getting on this video. I applied through AIPP and guys sorry to break your bubble but Rachel is correct. It's very difficult to apply through this pathway, that's the cost of having low requirements. I spent 3 years looking for an employer, been rejected countless times-the silent treatment after the final interview is the absolute worst. Take this from someone who crawled her way to get to Canada. It's not easy. The hate you're throwing at Rachel is unacceptable. She is not sugarcoating. That's the reality. It's not pearls and diamonds. Those requirements are just a facade. Let's learn to be accepting whether it's painful or not. This is only way we can make educated decisions. It will set us back and weigh our options. 😌 if you feel like your hope is building up, take a pause and then process that feeling. Emotions are deceitful you know. What I'm trying to say guys please take everything with a grain of salt.
@rrdancel
@rrdancel 3 жыл бұрын
You hit the nail on the head. 🥺❤️ I hope people see past this video. It’s really not to discourage them but enlighten them since sooooo many depend on this program when the requirements are very rigid and employer-dependent. I understand that it’s hard to accept that the chances may be low here if that’s all that the person was hoping for. But that’s the sad reality to Immigration: it’s simply not for everyone. 😕 but it shouldn’t discourage them from trying because only when you try you really know if it’s for you or not. Thank you so much for your support and for sharing your experience to inform others. 🤗❤️🤗❤️ you’re doing everyone the greater good by letting them know this information. That way they can piece the puzzle faster and hopefully seek other options. AIPP is now a Permanent Immigration Pathway. But it’s still Job offer dependent, so that’s still half the battle... 🤷‍♀️

Not sure if I agree with you especially coming from someone in BC as we got our PR through AIPP in 7 months. I have been watching your videos and can tell how knowledgeable you are with Study Permits but this video can be discouraging to aspiring applicants of AIPP. We are from NS and know a lot of success stories through this pathway including ours of course. anything pertaining this pathway is most likely to be more accurate from applicants who are in any of the Maritime provinces.

Technically, there is nothing "wrong" with AIPP. It is employer-driven, therefore, the most important element there is the JOB OFFER. It is challenging in terms of finding a designated employer. And to frankly tell everyone, these designated employers might consider people who are already in Canada than those who are off shore, well, depending on their need. Come to think of it, why will an employer hire someone overseas if there are immigrants and local talents ready to satisfy their business needs? That "deal breaker" Rachel discussed may be just a single aspect of AIPP in other people's opinion, especially those KZfaqrs who say it is an "easy path", but come to think of it, without that JOB OFFER, you will definitely not qualify for this immigration program.

Same thoughts as mine, despite of promising lead there were drawbacks and the top obstacle that might insurmountable is the needle in the stacks of hay JOB OFFER since I had spent more than 2 years quest for that elusive job offer but couldn’t get one. Hello, have you looked at the designated employers list for each province? The list is loooong and one should get a job offer inevitably. Also, talking about the AIPP for international students who studied in the atlantic provinces their only requirement is to get a job offer. What are your thoughts on this
@rrdancel
@rrdancel 3 жыл бұрын
All three programs under the AIPP requires a job offer from a designated employer. The list could be long. But, it doesn't mean that all employers that list are hiring. So, without a job offer from a designated employer, then the student is not qualified for AIPP.

Nothing is easy, and "easy" is relative. Took us 2 weeks to get a job offer (piece of cake, hun) but 2 years to finally get PR through AIPP. It was more difficult to gather requirements and docs, we did it DIY😅 But I do not think we could call these as "flaws or problems" of the program. Job offer is 1st eligibility requirement - the program aims to help employers in Maritimes attract talents. Immigration plan of 6000ish per year for the next 3 years are not bad numbers, considering it is a "pilot" program. For family of 4, we just needed 6100CAD proof of funds. One can get in with highschool level English skills. But I would say one needs a LOT of luck, faith and relevant skills to get in the program. These "flaws" are designed to create balance or as you say, half of PH would be in Atlantic now😅
@rrdancel
@rrdancel 3 жыл бұрын
First of all, it’s not a piece of cake. You had all the relevant requirements to fulfill that one job offer position - what about those thousands of people that did not get that job offer? It was definitely not a piece of cake for them, hun. You are correct in the “everything is relative”. If you take 6,000 PR admissions under the AIPP and compare it to the PR Admissions of Express Entry - more people can be admitted for PR under Express Entry. So in relative terms, AIPP is based on luck and Express Entry is based on merit. AIPP is a pilot program but with any pilot program, it’s up for yearly review. It can be cancelled at anytime. The numbers can decrease at anytime or go up. But it’s not like Express Entry, that’s more stable and predictable. Basically what I’m trying to say is - I would rather rely on quantitative characteristics like my merit and skill. As opposed to getting lucky bc of an employer that’s gonna give me that one job offer that my whole future depends on... But I do praise you for being 1/6000. 🎫 You got the golden ticket. It’s like winning the lottery - it’s definitely a huge gamble but the payout is high. 👍😊

For two days, I am doing my research on this AIPP path kasi nga parang madali. As I go through the requirements, sabi ko hindi naman to madali. Ang hirap kaya makahanap ng designated employer. Saying the AIPP is an easy pathway to PR is clickbait. It grows the KZfaq Channel as more viewers are watching. However, its misleading as it does not state the truth about finding a designated employer. Also, I have noticed agents advertise this AIPP program like it will give you PR because of the low requirements. The clients end up giving money to the agent and then found out later there is no job offer. I have received so many private messages from victims being scammed through the AIPP so I decided to make a video on it.

Hi Rachael, thanks for the great work, I don't think this program is as easy as you are saying esp for foreigners This is what I keep getting on the job sites "Intended job posting audience Anyone who can legally work in Canada can apply for this job. If you are not currently authorized to work in Canada, the employer will not consider your job application" Could you please elaborate on the above statement, that must I be in Canada in order to be considered for a job offer??
@rrdancel
@rrdancel 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Dear, In this video, I mentioned that AIPP is quite difficult to get - this is based on the title, thumbnail and especially the statement made in that video. Maybe rewatch? The statement "who can legally work in Canada," means you must have valid working status in Canada. People with valid working status in Canada are Canadians, permanent residence, and various types of work permits holders. I hope that answers your question.

Hi Rachel! I've been looking into this AIPP and EE program to Canada. And I'm worried I won't land a job from an employer and end up wasting my money on an agency. Is there a lot of jobs there in Canada in the design industry? I have a 5 year experience here in the Philippines as a designer in a publishing company. And would you suggest the EE pathaway for me rather than other pathways? And by the way, I've been watching a lot of your videos now, thank you for these informative contents of yours.
@rrdancel
@rrdancel 3 жыл бұрын
Its hard to suggest either program as it is dependant on each person's circumstance. For some, AIPP may be a better option since they got a job offer. For others, no job offer from a designated employer means AIPP is not an option. It may be a better idea to get assessed by an immigration lawyer so that you know for certain which option is best for you. Please avoid agencies as they will just tell you AIPP and EE are both REALLY good options for you. They will never tell you no as it means they won't be able to get your money.
