Would you say another likely culprit is often times the suction side diverter valves? Assuming the water level is where it’s supposed to be.

Yes. About 90% of the time bubbles are the suction side, valves and all. The smallest cracks or gap can cause it.

I took over a newly built pool, less than 2 months old and there are a few random bubbles coming from 1 of the returns. Not sure what it is, maybe gnuite stuck inside the pipes underground

Does it have older Jandy diverter valves on the suction side of the pump?

@@jimkline6285 it has ozone crap on it, that could be the reason for the random bubbles but I have another pool I maintain and they have an ozone but no bubbles
