Companies buying, making these compressor tanks - pumps , this has opened my eyes to how poor and non treated steel - components used ! Matter of time before someone or an accident has to happen in the resulting of life , to investigate where these are made and how there made !!!!!

You got to have a pressure vessel stamp anyway in order to manufacture these. Most companies have get the certs from the factory who made the plate on the material where they can tell the date, time, place and maker

@@505premotoplenty of paints are designed to do this type of job. Just paint over slight scale of rust. It converts that to primer and sticks beter to surface. Nothing unusual is done here

Даже если электродвигатель на каждое изделие устанавливается индивидуальный. Сделайте прорези для его сдвижения относительно компрессора для натяжения ремня.

Это трудоёмко. Прорези нужно вырезать или вырубать на этапе раскроя листа. На баллоне их уже не спозиционировать с компрессором. Только если на двигатель и компрессор изготавливать общий кронштейн

We have the Pressure Systems Safety Regs 2000 here in the UK that requires employers to have air receivers operating at greater than 250 bar / litres thoroughly examined by a competent person on a routine basis. This is because of the immense amount of stored energy within an air receiver. As someone else has rightly commented, I wouldnt get within 100 metres of one of these air receivers!!!!

Thats for damn sure. My friend had a cheap Chinese compressor blow up in his shop a couple years ago.. Blew out all 6 windows and put a 3 foot hole through the wall. Busted one rafter and put a 12 inch hole in the roof.. Luckly they were in the house eating dinner when they heard it explode. The store replaced the compressor but wouldnt pay for the damages.@@ernestcotton9324

What’s the burst pressure of that tank ? I’d doubt it’s anywhere close to the 150psi working pressure of an air tank ..🤷🏽‍♂️ . You are right tho ..if one does fail , won’t be a good day.

Crikey, that's scary! 10 bar tank was tested for leaks with a garden hose off domestic water supply - pressure unlikely to be more than 4 bar, probably a lot less. 2-conductor mains cord fitted, no earth. No check for leaks inside the machine mountings. Inside of machine mountings not painted - will rust out. It is a sort of very long delay BOMB! Air recciver tanks are pressure vessels, and as such come under national safety codes - there's no way these units come anywhere near code requirements, they are killers.

@@slipperyslope5364 : The codes of my country, the USA, Europe, whatever - pressure vessel safety codes are worldwide. Applicable international codes include ISO-1217-2009, ISO-3587-x-1977, EN-1012. The country in this video appears to be Pakistan. Officially, the Pakistan government requires compliance with ISO standards. These jokers are breaking their own laws, but, clearly it isn't enforced.

Pressure testing needs to be done with water at a pressure higher than the designed working pressure. The tank should have a high pressure relief valve.

In Pakistan, they adjust the length of the belt rather than moving the motor on a sliding bed. As you know, followers of Islam do everything in the opposite direction to the rest of the normal world. That's how they stand apart.

Молодцы. Все оборудование 1920 годов, но оно работает. И люди на нем изготавливают разные изделия. В нашей стране нодо поощерять и открывать такие маленткие мастерские на ряду с большими заводами. Будущее за тех развитием. В СССР в каждой школе были мастерские, я сам обучался в такой, а сечис нас делают потребителями что бы мы были зависимыми вовсем .

Необязательно! Смотря какие применяются электроды.Если LB52 с кристалической обмазкой/ электроды с основным покрытием то они сами всю грязь поднимают на вверх ввиде шлака. Рутиловые электроды требуют зачистки будущего сварного шва,так как они не вычищают грязь из сварочной ванны,но зато ими легко прихватывать метал короткой дугой.

No rust inhibitor, paint or rust converter inside the tank. The overlap weld is sketchy af and ofcourse is on the bottom where moisture acumulates. Secondary pressure release valve is probably the weakest weld. Let us pray that there is a ground connection someware, touching bare metal.
