We make this Bread And Butter Pudding. It's an old desert recipe abd very tasty traditionally made out of stale leftover bread.
Here's the ingredients:
8 slices of bread
4 tbsp of currents or sultanas
3 tbsp of sugar
2 large eggs
1 pint of milk
Vanilla extract to taste.
Enjoy with custard or cream.

Watching your videos convinced me to buy and air fryer a couple of months ago and it's so worth it. My husband has arthritis and it's so easy and safer for him to cook something for his lunch whilst I'm at work. I look forward to each new video for the great laughs.

Omg guys, I made this tonight for dessert after tea. I also put jam on the bread as well as butter and then added a tablespoon of custard powder to the egg and milk mixture. Boy of boy i have to have a lay down now was so yummmy. Cant wait to see what you show us for Christmas with the air fryer.... well done guys...

As kids back in the 50’s we had this and rice custard and chocolate steam puddings. There wasn’t much to choose from at the supermarket in those days and it was left over from the scrimping days during the war. Still delicious.

We looked at our new (Lakeland) air fryer with trepidation having used traditional ovens for all our married life (54 years). Luckily a granddaughter reminded us to look at KZfaq and we found your vlog. I haven’t used my electric oven since except for keeping plates and food warm! Thank you so much for all your cheerful advice and ideas. In fact I’ve just cooked chestnuts we collected in the forest on our walk with the dog today. Delish! Do cut a hole in them first, they tend to explode!

Great pudding, we had eight of us in the family when I was a kid and Mum made a great big Bread and butter pudding to feed us all. Delicious and very filling/satisfying. Another great video , thanks for sharing.

I so love you both. I also love Sharon's eye-rolling when Martin is in taste heaven. Makes me laugh every time... I even start smiling when the music kicks in, lol!! Going to try this with homemade gluten-free bread. Thinking of breads, don't think you've done a homemade pizza in the air fryer yet. I've made gluten-free pizza from scratch in the air fryer dual and it was amazeballs according to my picky hubby who was pretty much like Martin tasting and needed the background music, lol. 😁👆👆👆

How about making another classic pudding? Air fryer Treacle tart or treacle pudding. Don't even know if you can make them in an air fryer but it's comfort food season and you guys are the best.

Bread pudding is the greatest. I use a good amount of marmalade preferably cumquat in the mix not too much sugar.

I heated up an Aldi cheese and bacon wrap in the air fryer, while it was cooling down, I put my plate in the fryer after switching it off and heated that too, love it, two for one 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

Tesco used to do a brioche bread and butter pudding with sultanas soaked in amoretto it was so tasty and not as stodgy and dense as some that are made out of plain white bread.
