I've been craving deep fried Asian style quail, but hate the mess of deep frying in my home (and not so crazy about the amount of oil required to deep fry it), so as soon as I got my new Ninja Foodi 5-in-1 Indoor Grill home it was time to air fry some quail!

As promised, for those who don't own an air fryer, but want to try my recipe you can also make this by roasting/pan frying.
Follow the same steps in my video to prep the Quail birds and marinate them. When you're ready to cook the birds, instead of using the air fryer, follow the steps below:
1. Preheat your oven to 400 Deg Farenheit
2. Place your birds in the oven and cook for about 10 minutes
3. While your birds are cooking in the oven, heat up some oil in a pan on medium heat (make sure the amount of oil will submerge the birds about 1/2 inch).
4. Once your birds have began browning and close to cooked, take them out of the oven and put them in the hot oil you've been heating.
5. Rotate your birds until they've become brown and crispy, but not burnt.
6. Place your birds on a plate lined with some paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
Now you're ready to enjoy them!
