Top notch video mate, i for one was pleased to see the one you shot a few times, because it happens to us all, each and every one of shooters has this happen at some point no matter who you are, and i appreciate your honesty, and you my my respect for leaving it in mate, Cheers

Very true!! It's very much not shot after shot and no one is perfect! I went out one-night last week and got 24 but that took over 3 hours and patience, I also made a couple of less than perfect shots. You always know if it's not a good shot as they squeal like hell.

I would leave those sort of shots in. It shows a 'warts and all' reality of what happens when doing this sort of job, I've had it happen to me and not for the first time. Nice shooting and keep on feeding them pellets, lead ones that is.

Probably pissing on it to show its dominance. I really do think it's all down to observation picking that perfect time to shoot and that perfect angled shot to create the worst possible trauma. Also 177 is better to use on skittish rats with quicker head movement much quicker pellet to catch them out

Could be wrong but when you shoot the Houdini, it could be a female and could of been trying to feed one of it young, time will tell, probably just marking it 😂😂
