Күн бұрынOn this trip I do a loop tour around the Sawtelle area of Santa Monica, west of the 405. I expected to three sirens, thought I might see more, but things happened.

About the Edwards hyperspike, they are tall and short boxed up siren that are used for announcements and alert just like LRad sirens

I actually wasn't aware of that. I'm planning on hitting up the valley next, but who knows, with the summer coming maybe I'll head South to Long Beach and San Pedro.

You need to get one of the short horn 500-SHTT sirens in your hands They are decently rare and I know you would take good care of it

@@DayTrippingAdventurer I’m sure if you contacted agency responsible for the sirens and asked if you may have one they would probably not care and allow you to get one the next time one is removed

I remember the siren tests when I was a child. When did they stop testing?

I believe it ended in early 85'. The only classic one still being used, from what I understand, is on Catalina Island.
