what are the limitations on the handlebar control fitting 1.5" aftermarket bars. Ive seen other videos and read that some installs had issues with the controller not fitting aftermarket bars

Hey Kirk, the handlebar mounted control will work on bars up to 1-1/4". In most cases if someone has bars that are 1.5" the handlebar control section or controls and grip area are down sized to the normal 1", not everyone does this but most do, We do not often see 1.5" bars but you will just want to see if they state you can run standard controls or if they require after market. We also offer a 2 way toggle switch so if you want to by-pass the handlebar control and remote mount the toggle switch you can do this as well.
