I find it a lot easier to do the gray, shadows and highlights at the same time. Makes it a lot easier to align everything, only downside is you need 3 brushes.

Wow! You make it look so easy. I’ll probably need a gallon of paint and a few dozen canvases to get mine half as nice as yours. After watching a couple hours of your channel your teaching is working for me. New subscriber here and thanks for sharing!

I took your advice and bought a eclipse...... dude that thing is sick! I should’ve bought it 1st lol I’ve been using the Iwata Revolution CR and Neo. I thought they were amazing... the Eclipse has a total diff feel to it. It gives confidence just from holding it and the ease of fine lines, gradients, and just over all to me is flawless!! I have one the cheap red brushes and a wanna be “micron”. People don’t waste your money if you plan on airbrushing a lot both professionally or for art for your self. Only if you plan on using a airbrush once every few months then I’d get a cheapo! And if u don’t have the 175$ to get a Eclipse then I’d get a Neo, I’ve seen their prices range from 54$-70$, to me theres not enuff diff in the Neo and Revolution to buy a Revolution at $90-110$. I’d recommend the Neo it has a .35mm and Revolution is .5mm. BUT if you have the money get the IWATA ECLIPSE! Thanks Carsten for the info and recommendation of the Eclipse.

Great video Great effect 3D! I’m a new subscriber and really enjoying your tutorials. I don’t have much experience but would love to share some of my work with you if possible. I’d say this is a “bullet holes on drywall” effect as it is what it looks like. The other style resembles holes in metal and that’s why is more labor involved as you have to depict metal deformed and ripped. Love this one as the 3D effect! Thank you for sharing.
