Thanks for the video. Whats your comment about the airbus recommendation to wait 3 mins before turning on the apu bleed? Is it mentioned in your maintenance manual?

Question: Can the APU (and following the engines) be started w/o external power ?

Yes the apu is actually designed to be started without external.it’s power source for electric starter are the aircraft batteries.You don’t need external power to start the apu on the other even with external power you need aircraft batteries to start the APU because the fire protection systems need battery power
