Starting of the APU and pre flight check. Not all the checks are done in this video but gives the viewer a good understanding of cockpit prep prior to crew checks for departure. Visit the channel for more. Please like , subscribe and share....Super thanks also welcome. Most of all: Thanks for watching.

Jip, based on the DC9 and they even hide circuit breakers behind the bins in the cockpit on the MD80 'cause of lack of space. Mostly instrument backlighting.

Does sound similar... Its a problem in most aircraft cockpits. If you look at the black box crash investigations and see how many times pilots are overwhelmed and confused due to similar warning sounds....could be a problem unless you spot the problem or realize the mistake quick enough.

Its because I'm an avgeek too. Good luck with the build. I've seen some guys do it on KZfaq by ordering pre-made panels. Cant remember from where but do remember that it was expensive. Sell a kidney, rob a bank or something. My little piggy bank has to little money and the Ball and chain will have a fit if I spend about half what my house is worth on "flying" in my lounge. She says sitting in a chair at home is not flying. Clearly does not understand the skill and effort it takes to do it properly.

Oh. Hey. The GPWS test seems to run the TCAS test too... the 737-600 has a seperate panel for tcas/tcas test.

Would be nice, but someone will loose it or take it home.....some light aircraft do have keys as an extra measure of protection.

5:33 Did not quite understand how you’ve tested the landing gear lever. Did you pull it towards you? Thanks in advance!

The lever is spring loaded. To test it you pull towards you and it tests the lights, On the lower part is a manual override (looks like trigger), which allows you to release the gated slot and select the landing gear lever into the position required.
