In this Part 7 we finally finish the cockpit, while that is great, before we do get around to doing the cockpit, there is something else that we need to attend to.
Oh yeah and when I was looking for other stuff for another kit, seatbelts I think, I came across the big ed set for this kit. You can only image my face and what ran through my head, Oh Bugger is just the tip of the iceberg with what I said. Anyway, if there is anything I can do with this found set I will and video at a later stage.
Hope you enjoy the video

I fully expect this thing will end up actually flying over to Germany by the final video. The level of detail is off the chart. Brilliant to watch.

Absolutely loving your videos and attention to detail. My grandfather flew nightfighter missions in an FB 2 and FB 6. He used radar so his area was not a sparse as yours. Would have loved to have sent you out his radar equipment in! Have you decided about a final paint scheme yet? If you do it as a nightfighter it would be an honour if it was the same as the one he was shot down in a 605 squadron U-PK HX 823 (G) anyway really looking forward to the next video please don’t leave another couple of months

Dear Mr Frontline, Another excellent video, (notwithstanding the gunsight, which of course you will locate in several weeks time), with great details as usual. I note that several other good channels have been approached with regard to their use of music. Now, I gather that they both genuinely believed that their sources were royalty free and this has apparently turned out not to be the case. Anyway, I just thought you might like to know this- perhaps someone from a nearby internet may approach you regarding your use of music and forewarned is forearmed... I congratulate you on putting out such high quality work! Regards, Z

On par with the likes of uncle nightshirt, Will Patterson, Doogs Models. Exceptional craftsmanship. I know where to come for a prop for a future project we’ll be filming. Really enjoying this build, it goes from strength to strength. Exceptional detail

Rob, you are a detailing monster. Now you've made me try and scratch build a HUD for a 1/144 Eurofighter Typhoon.

Rob - love the mind-boggling detail - are you able to share more details of your reference books? Can figure some out but others are still a mystery.

9 minutes in and he starts doing wiring. I was a fitter and turner - I don't do Wiggly Amps in 1:1 scale let alone smaller scales. My head hurts now and I need Alcohol. OK, I'm chilled now. - Nice wiring sir, really brings the Cockpit to life, it makes it realistic, beautiful work, if I may say so. ('Kin bits of silly wire getting in the way of proper bits of engineering!!) [Did I say that out loud?]

Why would electrical components have so much crap on them? They never would. This particular aircraft operated out of a concrete airstrip. No mud. It is fine detailing models, but be real about it. No pilot or nav would want to fly in such a crapy interior, and the maintenance crew would never let the interior be like this. It is detrimental to the operation of the aircraft.

Why would you waste your time writing absolute shite about something you really know nothing about. This modeller’s interpretation is from his own mind and period photographs. I know he has because I built the same kit with him. So I’ll think you’ll find you mangled spastic spanner that you managed to make yourself look a bit of a twat.
