I sympathize with a person who works in it because of two factors. Don't understand the computer or the phone or the tablet very well and they don't respect how much effort goes into it. The other reason is sometimes you have the sad duty of tattling on someone. I heard about a guy who had a computer from the office and they said he could use it for personal use. The computer stopped working and our hero took it to the IT guy. The hard drive was full of pornography. The IT guy had to fill the boss that the hard drive was full of pornography and they fired this guy. I hate to be in a position where I have to snitch on somebody.

Hey Kelsey! Massive props to you! Just wanted to chime re the psychology on date girl vs wing girl: the kind of girl you'd probably actually want to date doesn't think about other women like that in a competitive (or whatever) way with regards to their own prospects for being a partner/date prospect until they know you much more and really see you as a viable/desirable prospect for her future. You don't need a wing girl. Girls like it when guys are just straight up honest with them. You don't need mind games or tricks. Just be your humourous and wonderful self and she will be more likely to be relaxed enough to be herself too, then you can truly see if you are a good match. No need to be impressive or a 'version' of yourself because that just sabotages your connecting with the right person. Best of luck Kelsey. If I weren't married and were more attractive I'd date you for sure.

Yup I’d have to agree. Mind you I’ve always saw the dating process as a means for me to get to know my prospective partner a bit to work out if we’re truly compatible for a long term relationship. I couldn’t do that unless the guy is presenting his true nature and just being honest about who he is. I consider myself fortunate that I’m currently in the best relationship of my life so far and unless things change I could see myself settling down with him. Of course I speak only for myself. I don’t really know if many other women operate like this.

@mikoto7693
@mikoto7693 Жыл бұрын
Yeah those are reasons why pilots are popular on places like that. Patience, intelligence, even tempered, responsible, dedicated and reliable. All good things that I see in my own partner. But there are some downsides that pilots and anyone dating them must be able to cope with. Isolation, frequently being away from home and family, often a very chaotic and unpredictable rota that can make it hard to plan ahead for things like birthdays ect. They also work all hours of the day and night. These are things even short haul pilots often have to deal with and it can make finding the right person a bit of a challenge. And yet for me that’s fine. I tend to be quite independent and appreciate the time when I’m solitary as much as I value the time when he’s home between flights. Plus I work in ground handling at the airport so I understand the demands of his job as he understands mine. And thus I’m happy and I think he is too.

I think dating a pilot is hard for a lot of people. We want you to be home with us every night sharing the good times. The away time might be tough to accept.

Find yourself an Army/Navy/etc brat, they're used to it and can generally handle a "partner not being home much" relationship really well, unless their own experience put a negative spin on the concept instead of just making them used to it. Source: NOAA brat (it's worse than the military).

I did an experiment using the personals in San Francisco a very long time ago ( dating apps weren’t a thing yet). I went on 100 dates in under a year. Sometimes a few on one day. Got stood up twice and met 98 women face to face. I ended up with one friend. No one I thought I could spend time with other than her but we never really dated, just hung out. She liked fat guys so I wasn’t her body type. I never used the personals again.
