well, the wings provide lift. But only if there's enough thrust to get enough of a change in air pressure between the bottom and top of the wing

As i watched an interview in TV of a Filipino Pilot 5 to 6 yrs before he said he is among of the very few Pilots of Emirates A380 aircrafts. He was the Pilot who takes the brandnew aircraft to its home base in UAE.

I flew on an Emirates a380 from Hong Kong to Dubai. It was super cool. It probably also made it cooler that I was on an airplane so big. But they’ve always been my favorite airplane. And Emirates is my favorite airline.

I am told that airplane has to have 8 pilots to take off and land. It needs minimum of two pilots to control each engine plus two pilots at the flight deck and 2 copilots. All must be double certified to also fly 777 and 747. Also that plane has 11 different computers operating at all time. Amazing!!!

I can watch this video all day long and never get bored. Slightly rotation of the tail flaps can take the heavy airplane off from the ground and every single time during the take offs I pay attention to rotation of tail flaps. What a technology. WOW !!!

Awesome footage. The sheer size of the A 380 looks like a very large building taking to the air! And, the size of those engines astounds me as well. Too big for moving people I say. Cargo? Well yes. People? No. Too many lives in one basket if this ark fails.

The Tristars used to take off at very acute angle. It was more like a leap off the runway. It was very noticeable if you were seated at the back. A friend of mine who was nervous about flying fainted on take off.

These pilots know their job very well. Even average commercial pilots have more control on their machine than most of us in our favourite video game, let alone the experienced ones who fly the largest commercial airliner in the world. They could land a plane safely while having a heart attack or even Epilepsy. Massive respect 👏👏🙏🏿

Jumbo jet A380 is a wonder of human creation. Flew dozens of time, easy take off, no turbulence and easy landing. Interior is mind blowing and upper deck is just another wonder. This beast will soon be a history😭 such beast need to continue its service so people like me enjoy flying with A380. What a sky monster. Let's all pray for new such Jumbo which can carry 500 plus people. Will miss when they are grounded for ever in following years because multiple companies are grounding this human made beast.

Awesome!! I was aboard one of those in February 2024 for vacation; from Dulles international airport to Dubai international airport. They served us too much food. And the pilots are many; I counted at least 8 of them going and returning. I believe they are many because they go back to Dubai almost immediately, so they work in shifts (going to Dubai is 12:45 hours non-stop, returning to the States 14:45 hours non-stop....believe me, they used up all the hours as stated); and they didn't stay overnight in Dulles airport, they return that same day. It is a very long hours of flight each way!!

it's the best plane I've ever flown in ..the comfort and safely is top.. I slept off while in one taxing to takeoff. woke up later 🤣 asking, are we already in the air . you'll hardly feel air turbulence
