And they’re fast AF 💪🏻

Actually, Warhead has some weird time delay (probably something in the ESC making that time lag), making startup - and there fore trigger response slower than some brushed motors, they are great for lowering the amp draw though, making it my favorite for high performance builds with limited battery space. For fast trigger response I'm going to try the T238 brushless the next time. Usually I'll use a high TPA brushed motor paired with high speed or DSG gears and a high quality "RC" 14.8V LiPo with high C value, as big as I can fit.

This has been a great conversation around this particular motor recently and the understanding of its use, and how not to use it. I can't link the video in comments, but search for T238 vs Warhead. There is an oscilloscope analysis that gives good understanding about the abilities of both, and COM signal timing issues of the WARHEAD that are not in the T238.

@@hyperslow556gungamer you 100% can link it in the comments, let me do that for you
the ESC delay is too much on these warhead motors for me to use them on high speed builds. just built a 13:1 33k brushless build with the new paragon armory motor, 21ms cycle time. almost 1.5x faster than my dsg build with a warhead

I will stick with a brushed 28TPA for half the price.😂

i wish i could, my fucking build is tripping the 100A digital fuse on my leviathan ETU

Very good points, how do you deal with overspin in something like a 16:1 brushless dsg though?
@UmbrellaArmory11 ай бұрын
Well Brushless motors have their own internal AB system. Paired with a lighter armature by design, they naturally don't overspin that much compared to DC motors which do require MOSFET-AB to slow them down. Many of our builds don't require AB with Brushless Motors. (You can utilize AB, just keep it on the low end
