My ordeal with #Airtel broadband for over 2 weeks prompted me to switch to #jio #jiofiber broadband connection.
2 weeks without internet connection was hell!

7 days no internet ... I have been using Airtel since 2021 ....I faced at least 3-4 day minimum internet cuts in a month..The maximum is 7 days no internet ..and very bad response from customer support and a very lazy service engineer ... i have every screenshot to prove how many days i suffered without internet

Can understand your predicament Sourav. If it’s getting too much, just switch to an alternate ISP after checking around your neighbourhood.

I remember your ordeal quite well.. and discussions on the same at office.. There are chances that Airtel's region in-charge will land up at your doorstep after this video... Odd are also high that Jio may offer something big to you for the free promotion they've got.. 😉

I’m not going to forget this one for a long time! 2 weeks without internet man. 😖 I don’t expect any favours from Jio - just a downtime-free service. 🙏🏻

Hi brother, I guess you may experience poor wifi coverage if the router is placed between the TV and wall. I experienced it myself. Just place it on the TV stand at the height of our waist or on a stand drilled into wall above the TV. Else you will have to get an range Extender. You may also any other modem in bridge mode to get stable extended connection without much drop in speed. I have kept modem in my room where I use laptop and mobile and have taken LAN connection to TV because 4K content demands atleast 40mbps to avoid buffering.

Hi, I don’t experience any shortage in the range since my 1 BHK apartment is quite small at 600 sqft. The other option is to place it quite high up where my son won’t be able to reach it but the power and optical cables can be quite an eyesore! This one works just fine for me. 👍🏻 There may be issues if it’s a 2 storey home and you may need a range extender.

I had similar issues, they wont connect me to an engineer nor will they connect me to the their local representatives. this stupid connection goes and all they say it that it will be fixed by this time and when the time arrives it gets extended.

To be very honest, when it worked, it worked well. It was only this really L-O-N-G downtime of 2 weeks that was frustrating. And Airtel’s customer support - the less said the better.

@@GaneshBalan I spoke to a supervisor 6 times and their chat option on the Airtel app is worthless ... I've decided to switch connections once my 6 months is over.

A lot of firms have switched to IVRs and reaching out to a human is nigh impossible today man! I can understand your pain. Review the situation after 6 months and take a call. I’m not touching Airtel with a barge pole again! I’ve had enough.
