The Airwolf theme lost something when it turned synthetic. The goosebumps you get from the orchestra cellos and trumpets are unreal.

January 1984. I was just one month shy of turning 10 years old. I had my dad make the first recording we ever made of the pilot premiere on our Panasonic VHS. Watched it endlessly. That final scene after they steal it and chase him in the desert. Priceless dream of an 80s action kid

Kris Gordon All the better for it. I loved that scene. There has never been a hero as damaged as that in any tv series. Rest in Peace Jan Michael-Vincent.

This is IT!!! All the versions of the Airwolf theme you find on the web are horrible synthesised electronic bits of rubbish! This is the beautiful (almost romantic,) proper version done with proper horns and strings and maybe some woodwind here and there! Thank you!! WFTN!!!! Merry Christmas 🎄 and stay safe over the festive season! ✊

Hahahahahahahaha,,, ist just sampled from the movie!!! Its the last part of the Pilot/movie where Stringfellow give chase to moffet. Thats why u can hear rotors and explosions. : ) Still cool tho!! And yes, its the best version!! Iv must have seen that last part of the movie somewhere between 1000 to 2000 times! Its like hearing (and watching) your favourite song over and over again! And i never get tired of it. Never!!
