Loved this interview. She's popped up on my Twitter feed several times so it was a pleasant surprise seeing her on this channel! I love the AG community so much. Can't wait to hear more of her music! :') ♡

That's a good way of expresing what have happened to us. I went into the AG rabbit hole too. Thank you for introducing Chesca to us.

Hi Professor, this was a first-rate interview, Chesca is such an open and engaging person. I have to be honest; I have never watched any of Chesca's videos, but that is about to change once I finish this comment. I like the sound of mypilotis: The way I see You" and will be hunting Spotify for it. I love seeing new or independent artists getting some love here, Professor, you are a champion for new or simply good artists, I respect that, may it never change.

Thanks for featuring Chesca! Such a nice and talented person. As an amateur ukulelist I was of course delighted to spot (tenor?) Ukulele behind her. I could also relate to recent, but intense fandom after being sucked into the Babymetal foxhole just over a year ago. Learning guitar from tabs is totally OK. Even John Mayer and Keith Urban started out like that.

"Fantastico" interview! I've connected with Chesca over social media (though I might have run into her in passing at AG's Chicago show) - I'm amazed by her musical talent. Also a great Hikikomori Mizyu cosplayer! xD Btw, I think you were referring to their 2020 Thumva live performance, which is still available on the group's KZfaq channel - and is now sitting at 2.9 million views! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ep1dp5eUq8-opYU.html

Thanks! And yes, you are right. Not sure why I couldn't find it for a while. Maybe just buried int eh avalanche of AG stuff which has come out in the last year or so.

Cheska's song reminds me of Aimyon, who appropriately enough, wrote the first song---Gakko Ikeya---recorded by Atarashii Gakko. Still one of my favorites, only partly because of how far Aimyon and AG, separately, have gone since those fresh-faced days. AG should commission songs by female songwriters like Aimyon (and Cheska should be invited to submit a song or a few) for such a concept album (Jim Fusilli would disagree with that designation). Just singing, not necessarily performances. It would continue the "art project" narrative that the two of you talk about. It could be low-key, and not part of the 88Rising deal.

Hey sir, hope you're well. I debated whether or not to leave this comment (I'm just leaving it on your most recent video, it's not to do with this one specifically, apologies to your guest for that) because I think that, based on something you said at one point about your comments section, you might find it somewhat unwelcome, but I also know enough about being a creator to know that if I didn't say anything, you might just get an automated notification about it without any further explanation, and that thought made me sad, so, I wanna say -- purely for the sake of time management, I am *temporarily* unsubscribing. Time management has always been difficult for me and, for reasons that are intensely personal but wrapped up in that, I find myself utterly hellbent on the idea of trying to get to the bottom of my KZfaq subscriptions feed. I've been hiding videos one by one from my subscriptions as I've watched them, and, I feel like I'll be able to breathe a big sigh of relief that's been decades in the making if I can just make it to the very bottom. I want to be able to say, "I've carved out some small slice of the forest of infinite content that exists and, there may be a lot more out there, but at least as far as this much goes, I've seen all of it. ALL OF IT." I've enjoyed your videos and I've enjoyed your responses to my comments. So, I don't want you to think that the unsub is from a lack of interest or anything like that, it's definitely not. It's literally just me needing to feel like I've won against the algorithm for the sake of my own mental health. I've been keeping a list of all the channels I've unsubscribed from (the idea is that, once I actually get to the bottom, I can slowly start resubbing to things... I basically just want to be able to easily see how much stuff I've yet to watch), and for whatever it's worth, yours is the 55th channel I've added to the list. Lots of other people got the axe before you did, but they didn't get any explanation from me. It's not often that a creator responds to one of my comments, and you've responded to several! I really appreciate that. I'll be back as soon as I can, and hopefully that'll be sooner rather than later. As a side note, I was not aware of any of your writing prior to my discovering your channel, and my finances are currently such a mess that I literally have trouble getting my staple goods week to week, so things like novels are a fanciful luxury to me, alas, but I definitely want to pick up some of your books as soon as my time and my finances are both in a better condition. Cheers!

Sorry to see you go, of course, but I totally understand the need to extract yourself from internet pressures and distractions. I feel that too, and it has often made me consider putting this channel on hiatus at very least. Hopefully you'll check back in some time in the future when things have calmed down for you, but if not, no worries. Be well. And if you want to read one of my books but can't afford to buy one, email me through my website and I'll see about getting you a pdf of one. Cheers and be well, AJH.
