Wow, we pay 500 for a basic one bedroom casita, not private, near 6 Corners Ajijic. We are hunting for 350 in Chapala just to survive on social security as a couple. we also like to help out with local projects already in the works, either volunteering our time or few pesos we love to help.... why else are we alive, if not to care for each other the best way we can.....

Thanks for taking the time to share your apartment . I think if you have only one bedroom, it's not the "master" bedroom (as if you have more than one), it's just the bedroom . Nice little unit though . Ok, I'm being a bit picky . :-)

Now that's what I'm talking about .Great rental prices.I know many Americans always complain about not having granite counter tops stainless steel appliances ,dishwasher etc.Americans have to understand that when they move to another Country they are not in Kansas anymore, things will be different from what they are used to back home.To all Americans who move abroad and complain about everything ,they need to put their feet together click their heels together 3 times and say there's no place like home, open their eyes and get their sorry ASS'S on the first plane out of the Country.MY self I can give a rat's ass if I don't have stainless steel dishwasher etc.Thank God I have to arms,I can wash dishes by hand.As long as the frig works and keeps food cold that's all I care about. In life this is what I most care about.1a good relationship with GOD.2 GOOD health 3.GOOD company 4 good weather 5.Good food.6 Good income 7 Good Beer.

Welcome back Robert. That sounds like a great idea you having a KZfaq channel you could be helping out people and giving them the pros and cons as you see it traveling in Mexico (as you know we have videos what we've helped people traveling in other countries Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Hawaii, Guam, et cetera Etc. etc.) As you know Lori and I do this as a hobby (We freely receive and we freely give) We are not real estate agents so we're not trying to sell products just something we do to help out others. Robert some background information that may help you. We post one video once a week and we've done this fore approximately 2 years. We do all of our production ( Lori does all the camera work) On our iPhones 6+ 128 GB storage, I do the editing using iPhoto's and iMovie, I also do all the color balancing on the photographs, adding text, music, making the thumbnails and titles. I spend about 8 to 12 hours to make one video a lot of the time is in the editing because we try to keep the videos under 12 minutes. When I am interviewing people they have a tendency of Talking and giving me a lot of information that I have to sort through and edit there 30 minutes Down to 10 minutes.( Some people I Another KZfaq channels better videos go on for 30 minutes are so but I try to keep it under 12 minutes so people don't get bored.) Robert the bottom line is I'm not that good on computers so that probably takes me longer than it would most people. But I have read that the people that are making money on KZfaq with their videos are spending 40 to 80 hours a week to produce one video I don't know if that's is hundred percent correct but that's what I've heard. Robert also I spend about half an hour a day answering comments here on KZfaq and Facebook. I have the time and I enjoy the process and helping others. Let us know and we will subscribe to your KZfaq channel. And if you need any help we are here for you. jerry & lori Good luck Robert and enjoy the process

Hello Jerry, I was watching on youtube about this elderly woman that makes $800 in SS, but she chooses to live in her car. I didn't feel any sympathy. HI Jerry & Lori! Thank u guys for all of the great information! I've watched countless videos of yours and I'm seriously thinking of getting out of the state's n the near future. What I haven't found though, are any videos giving information about the procedure & actual cost of moving, getting across the border, getting a visa, and becoming a citizen. If you've made videos on that I do apologize.. maybe you can let me know where to find it... or if you could make a video like that. I did watch the video of you guys moving 👍thanks again 😊

Steve most of the apartments, houses are furnished here with everything you need. kitchen supplies, all your towels and bedding blankets pillows, all you need to do is move in and start living. The other thing South east Asia seems to be more popular for Australians, new Zealand, Europeans because it's close, Mexico seems to be popular more for Canadians and Americans because Mexico is closer and easier for them to travel to. But it's great we have choices and that's what our videos are about giving people around the world more choices for a better lifestyle on a budget. Steve thank you for subscribing. PS have you seen this video on 150 dollars dollars a month room in Cambodia? Hi Wendy if money is not an issue we have lots of money the coastal resorts of Mexico are beautiful but they're a lot more expensive And you get a lot more 10 to 14 day tourist who are in and out and it's little harder to feel the support of others and community. We like the Lake Chapala area Ajijic where there is Community ex pats that live there year-round and it is not a resort so you don't get those tourists that are only there 7 to 14 days. I would say that the Lake Chapala area is probably half price to live then add a resort town on the coast. If you look at some of our other videos we show you homes from $450-$850 a a month fully furnished in some including utilities. See contact list below Wendy Thank You for subscribing to our KZfaq channel Lori and I appreciate You very much. This Canadian could afford about $500-650 CD monthly with utilities included. What about laundry? I could use a Laundromat if there are any in the area. Tonight the temp. in my SW Ontario Town shall be -23C. and high tomorrow of -18C. but with windchill feels like -26C.. Too old for this now. Do people suffer from patriotic guilt? Your videos are very helpful.
