Recently Nigeria Nigerian Afrobeat stars have not been receiving the recognition the deserve in many awards and across Africa. South Africa Tyla has become the new African artist receiving most awards despite not being successful in her music like Afrobeat music stars from Nigeria. The Nigerian music industry is still bigger and achieving much success as Calm down by Rema becomes the first African song to surpass 2 billion streams on Spotify

Because American Awards don’t matter. Burna was filling up an 80,000 capacity stadium and Ayra was performing at Glastonbury too. while the BET was on awarding mediocrity. The more we neglect them the more we win. Afrobeats is a threat worldwide but we have got the numbers. No cause for Alarm. Music no need permission to enter your spirit. We will always win

Davido should stop attending those fake American Awards. Tems won the BET Award but I was very happy that she didn't attend the Award event. That's why many people respect Wizkid. Burna Boy too didn't attend the Award event. Ayra Starr didn't attend the Award event too. Only Davido did and it's time for Davido to stop disrespecting himself.

Ever since the Grammy win, Tyla hasn't really done anything. Her debut album was a disaster, and she cancelled her first ever tour due to low ticket sales. All she's got is Water, and water alone can't fill even a 10k capacity. She realized that water was popular due to titok dance challenge, but she herself isn't that popular. I already knew that BET would defend and protect their fellows (the Grammy organizers) by following their footsteps. Or did you ever think they would do the right thing to put the Grammy to shame because of NG? They're both partners in crime.

Tyla is used because she has the "acceptable" black look. If she looked like Ayra, she wouldn't be pushed that far in the antiblack world. The other reason she sings in English. I dont think it is about music. It is about having an influencer artist who can appeal to a wide market that they can influence. They are interested in destroying boundaries, cultures and individuality because it gets in the way of their influence. The culture that is truly targeted is African American culture. They want to wrest it from them. I am South African, but i can see behind the agenda.

The song that won the African music award was the only one nominated in the category that did not have a single African word in it ... straight English from start to finish. It was like Americans imposing their idea of what African music should sound like on us without caring to know what we really enjoy. Whatever their intensions were, it was as clear as day that "Yakubu" was involved. And in the same vein, Nigerian artistes should boycott the Grammies. They don't deserve us.

Nigerian musicians are actually the ones who destroyed Afrobeat…They have all denied Afrobeat…They abandoned Afrobeat for amapiano and they have been promoting amapiano for South Africa…Nigerian musicians would never win international awards ever again…How can musicians abandon the genre of music that made big and expect to win international awards with amapiano? International awards are all authenticity and originality, and right now, Nigerian music is no longer original…They think they can win international awards with amapiano, a musical genre that belongs to South Africa…smh…Burna Boy and the rest of Nigerian artistes denied Afrobeat, and they are seeing the consequences…They can never beat South Africa when it comes to amapiano because it belongs to South Africa…

When your artists in the past were more popular, doing great winning awards, that doesn't mean other African countries were not working making music, they were, but what they were creating wasn't striking the correct cords with listeners, SA included, and when you were doing great we supported your music and artists. We rejoiced with you. We know AmaPiano is the new kid on the block, it's their season and one day something will come and be more popular. Knowing SAns, they will support that genre wholeheartedly.
